What is B1T Jam?

B1T Jam is a 7-day-long game development jam where you make a game using only 2 colors.

Theme:

the theme is

a versatile word with multiple meanings. It can refer to striking something, like a drum, or it can describe the rhythmic action of a heartbeat, the flapping of a bird's wings, or even a musical beat. It can also convey the feeling of exhaustion.

The interpretation of the theme is entirely up to you, so good luck creating your game within the next seven days. I'm confident you can beat the odds and produce a fun and engaging game.

Rules/Guidelines:

your game needs to be made during the jam period. if you're using premade assets you need to clearly credit it in your game page. only 40% of your game can consist of premade assets (code,art,music,sfx,with the exception to photographs).	any use of AI needs to be stated both in your game page and/or in-game.
you can only use any 2 colors at a time, modifying alpha or changing the transparency of a color is not allowed as it produces a new color.	no manipulating votes (spam rating, rating everyone else a much lower score, creating extra accounts, etc)
web builds are optional, but are required for you to be qualified for 'judges pick'. you can have your game available on as many platforms as you like.	you're not allowed to update your game or link a new update during the voting period

•  Gameplay: how well the gameplay is presented and polished.
• Art: how the game looks visually.
• Music: how the game sounds.
• Fun: how much you enjoyed playing and your willingness to replay?

• A special role will be given to the winners on the discord server • highlighted on the jam front page, and will be included in a video showcasing all the best games on the jam
