Used to be the Double Cheeseburger was $1, then they took away one slice of cheese and called it McDouble hoping you wouldn’t notice.

I remember. McChicken was a dollar too.

Two bucks and you were fat and happy.

Now the only food under $3.19(can’t even be bothered to round down to $3 even) is a small fry for (checks Internet for prices) $2.89, or apple slices for $1.39.

McChicken and McDouble are $3.60 each. The same two sandwiches would cost $7.20!

That’s not inflation, it’s greed.

And yet there’s always a line 🤦‍♂️

$1.08 after tax. My poor food back in my 20s.

24/7 Walmart (from the meme, I don’t shop there)

Our own physical media

Cars that didn’t track us and let us repair them

No AI slop

Affordable storage (8 tb was $150 for me as of 9 months ago. Its now over $350.)

No subscriptions outside internet itself.

Is there anything from the recent past that wasnt better than today? Hard to say.

You usedta could piece together a McGangbang with $2 and a dream

Poignant but the textures of his hair and coat and the dollar menu background are fucking with me.

I’m guessing this is Rawdawg Comics, and this is part of their style. I also find it a bit distracting, but it helps them stand out I guess and it’s their art so their call even if I personally am not a fan.

Man, a triple-a, new release videogame used to cost 50-60 McDoubles. Now it’s only, like, 20-25. What a time to be alive!

I once bought 5 McDoubles, just because I could. Those days are gone.

I remember when McDonalds hamburgers were 29 cents in the 90s (39 for cheeseburgers)

Although even at the time this was stupid cheap, though.

Pinning for the bygone days of Budget Goy Slop

Refusing to just make a burger in your own home
