Of course they wouldn’t have wanted proportional representation, look at how badly they would have gotten their asses handed to them if they did that. The country would finally have to admit that the NDP were getting votes, just not seats to match, and if that were the case then why bother voting for the Liberals?

They do not like democracy because they know how unpopular they are. In 2021 the only ads I saw from them were of Trudeau begging everyone to “unite”(strategic vote) because that’s literally the only thing they have going for them.

  • This government is giving breaks to the rich and firing tens of thousands of federal workers in a time when everyone is already desperate. How much stability is there for Canadians when we have a high unemployment rate and the government isn’t even trying to help?

Oh, and they’re cutting development fees in Ontario in half to the tune of $8.8bil dollars, which will just get paid by the taxpayer now, so it really doesn’t seem like saving regular people money is much on their mind. Remember, the most basic rule of having a strong economy is small amounts changing hands often so almost everything the Liberals are doing is weakening the economy, not reinforcing it.

“Thank you Justin Trudeau for running finally giving us a more fair and democratic voting sustem and then tossing that entire promise aside when you realized that you’d never win again if people actually felt safe to vote for what truly represented them.”

Like most centrists, at best he was vaguely tolerable. Of course, all that did was allow the party to inch further right to give us the Harper Conservatives but with red ties.

Dry-aged beef has spoiled. The trick to it is that you need a fairly large piece, like a whole leg or side, and then you trim off all the bad stuff on the outside. More simply, they don’t butcher it then age it. If you go buy a piece of dry-aged beef it’s gunna act a lot like any other piece of meat but if it hadn’t been butchered you could just keep aging it beyond when this individual piece would have gone bad.

  • Yea, thank god we instead have a conservative who’s first reaction to the US/Israel attacks was “Canada will unconditionally support the US” and who only bery slowly afterwards changed his stance.

The only thing good about this is the floor crossing to be able to point to the Liberals next elections and say to all the “strategic” voters that they’re literally voting for conservatives and/or a party which was attractive to Conservatives. We shouldn’t need that, because oh my god, but whatever, I guess.

  • What I’m driving at is that he might wear suits that fit but it’s important to still see that he still supports 90% of the things Trump does. Things like his Davos speech or what he eventually says in response to things like the US’s attacks are not worth defending because their purpose is entirely to make people feel as if there’s just enough stability to go back to ignoring politics again.

Carney is still a conservative’s wet dream, it’s just that people are so attached to their tribalism that voters aren’t paying attention. The MPs are, though, since we’re seeing so many cross over to be Liberals.

  • Oh, I’m still telling Carney to go fuck himself right to hell. He’s softer on trump than 10-ply toilet paper and most of the things he says correctly come a few days after his gut reaction to be a shit-heel. He’s slightly better about the US and Israel’s attacks but when they first started he promised to “unconditionally support” the US. Anything he says can’t really be agreed with because none of it is coming from a true moral highground. It’s hard agree with his words they carry no weight and are mostly lies.

You haven’t really given any sources at all for that being the extent of their power, and you also seem to have very little understanding of the fact that a group picked out by the guy who commands the military is not easily ignored. You also talk about the Ayatollah like it’s a pope position yet he’s the guy who keeps showing up to foreign affairs stuff.

Even in your own, un-sourced description you look kinda dumb.

  • That just helps her point to all those people and lets her go “if I’m so bad, then how come…”.

Do not do this. Make content that tells her to go fuck herself. Be representation for others so that they can see that JKR and her incredibly mediocre books are not welcome in a world that cares about others.

Yes, it sounds funny on the face of it, but it’s ultimately just a terrible, bad, no good idea.

  • Woof. Deflect all you want, it doesn’t change that your country is a result of ineffective centrists allowing conservatives to get away with murder, if they aren’t doing it themselves. Harris was still going to use your tax money to kill innocent children, she just wasn’t going to post about it on Truth Social and you would be able to tell yourself that she was the best of two options, and now you don’t need to care anymore. This shit happened when Biden got in, and Harris was right there saying she wouldn’t do anything differently.

I know ya’ll have a hard time learning, but how obvious do things need to be for you to see how bad things are?
