The entire Israeli political spectrum is united in blasting Netanyahu for not continuing to attack Iran, and Israeli society agrees. The reason, to put it simply, is that Israelis are war junkies.

There are a handful of decent humans there who oppose it all. They have protested and been beaten up.

Even the Nazis weren’t “a whole nation of genocidal maniacs.” In both Israel and Nazi Germany there is/was opposition to the atrocities committed by their leadership, just not enough. In Israel in particular “do you support comically evil thing” polls tend to get 60-80% support, except the Iran war which at its outset had 93% support. That’s not a whole nation of genocidal maniacs; that’s a nation of mostly genocidal maniacs.

There are essentialy no civilians or good guys.
The handful that are not evil should leave, they are acceptable collateral at this point.
If Iran had nukes, this problem wouldn’t happen in the first place, because no country would dare instigate a war against a country with nukes. Same reason why Russia dismantled Ukraine of nuclear weapons before going into war with them, and also the same reason why no country dares to touch North Korea.
