This is just one of many, many reasons. Nintendo: great games, terrible company.

        R&D: excellent!

        Procurement: shady.

        Legal: the fucking devil.

Nintendo isn’t the reason these are discontinued.

Wii U hasn’t changed, only one good emulator named Cemu: https://cemu.info/

      Games: https://r-roms.github.io/Nintendo/nintendo-wii-u

Switch emulation, all the initial forks are starting to dwindle down to a couple active projects looks like. Personally I prefer Ryujinx over Yuzu.

      Yuzu fork named Eden: https://git.eden-emu.dev/eden-emu/eden

      Ryujinx fork named Kenji-NX: https://git.ryujinx.app/kenji-nx/ryujinx

      Firmware: https://darthsternie.net/switch-firmwares/

      Product Keys: https://prodkeys.net/prod-keys/

      Games: https://nxbrew.net/

That’s Citra 🙂 Never heard of Citron before this. Shame it’s being discontinued, though.

Ryubing has given me no trouble on Linux. Eden on Android is progressing. Things are slower but the takedowns started after things became solid

A General Discussion will be stickied for the community to chat in about whatever. Staying on topic isn’t important in any GD stickies.

#2: Mundane Tech Support/ROM Sourcing Questions should to be kept to the sticky posts, unless it’s something novel/interesting others might want to see.

#3: Unless it’s at least tangentially relevant to emulation, no politics. Don’t get your toque in a knot.

#5b: Doesn’t mean be a doormat.

  • Report rude, unjustifiably entitled, or ungrateful users asking questions too.
