The 3d animation is better than I expected. It’s not amazing but I can enjoy this. I’ll probably keep preferring the original

I enjoy Shinkai’s recent movies more than his early. His early movies, I feel like he writes and directs a feeling of disjoint emotion and then beats your head over and over with it with visuals of empty spaces. Like the characters barely exist. Like stand in humans for music and landscapes to feel ennui over.
Then he got to Children Who Chase Lost Voices and the especially Your Name where he found bombast which made up for the weaker character writing and direction. And to me it worked with Your Name. That was blockbuster fun. Then Weathering With You and it was like he was trying to recreate Your Names best received moments over and over again. Anytime the vocalist from that band that was also in Your Name started singing. Did not like Weathering With You. Haven’t watched Suzume yet so don’t know if he did Your Name remake again.
I contrast character movement of Naomo Yamada movies with Shinkai. Yamada movies, the characters sound and move like humans. Shinkai movies, they’re stiff

I remember Jin Roh looks good, End of Evangelion was great, Macross movie from the 80s was very impressive. Redline is cool. Metropolis is solid. The Appleseed movies are alright. Also I haven’t watched a new anime movie in like 5 years so have no opinions on movies of this decade
If associated with a series was countable I’d have Cowboy Bebop Knockin on Heavens Door, Samurai X Trust and Betrayal, and Ruruoni Kenshin Reflection in the list

Every update to gamenative seems to have more contributors or at least new ones. Thinking that may catch up to Gamehub in simplicity by the end of year

Haven’t played the ps4/XOne forza or GT games. Project Cars doesn’t seem to wordy to me. Project Gotham Racing would be fun but Xenia has always been finicky for me though I’ve only ever tried on Linux

I don’t have a wheel setup so I appreciate gamepad centric racers. I need to spin up GT6 on RPCS3. I just occasionally try GT Sport on shadps4 to see if it works. I at least own the first project cars on steam before it was delisted. The only current game I’m planning to buy on deep sale is automobilista 2

Damn. Too expensive for me. My TV has a dark spot after 8 years. I’m going to be on the market for a new one in the next year or two and displayport would be sweet. Hopefully this starts a trend. This is Hisence and am excited to see reviews for the latest TCL models to drop

Tried it just now with Steamworld Heist 2 and it was perfect. Ultra wide resolution. Google and Apple have done a poor job getting non-free to play games a path to success on their stores. Steam on phones is the way to go
I regularly smoke big chunks of pork and beef just to shred and mostly freeze so I can later throw on top of stuff. It’s a huge upgrade to instant foods. Smoky instant ramen

I’ll try it out. I buy most of my indie games off fanatical bundles. It’d be nice to try a bunch one month. It’d be great if they integrated the subscription in steam so I could easily try stuff through proton

I’m hoping this becomes the norm for media consumption applications. Gamepad/TV interfaces

Google is trash. Next phone will absolutely be one of those upcoming graphene supporting Motorola phones. I’ll grab an old phone to test out postmarketos too

Hardware is just starting to hit it’s stride. This problem will resolve itself within a couple years of new hardware releases and time for people to upgrade
So many people let perfect be the enemy of good. Firefox is great. It’s the pillar of non-Chromium of browsers. Servo and Ladybird are not there yet and will take many years to surpass Firefox if ever. A Firefox fork has a better shot than those 2
GIMP is great software. Is it just Photoshop and Affinity better than it. Not seeing as much hate on Inkscape when it’s just Adobe and Affinity as better.
OpenOffice is outdated but was good for like ~2010
A bunch of y’all would have been ragging on Blender 10 years ago. Ragging on Krita. In 2012 acting like gaming in Linux was doomed. In 2015 acting like Kdenlive would never reduce crashes and improve functionality. Acted like Darktable would never be competitive with Lightroom. Godot would be no good for anything more than 2d sidescrollers and never compete with Unity 5. A bunch of do nothing fence sitters. Firefox and GIMP developers contribute more to the good of humanity than anyone crying about them in this thread

If you’re offered the job, take it I guess because no one expects you to succeed. If the internal expectations are to focus on the following: Minecraft, CoD, Diablo, WoW, Overwatch, Candy Crush, then maybe this person will excel in that direction. Also all those being video games that found success before Microsoft
Actually trying to make Xbox a success, it’s been nearly 13 years of trying to course correct and probably a good amount north of 100 billion dollars and still no strong consistent lineup of new releases. Fable can knock it out the park but that would just be one single player AAA game hit for Xbox after 13 years. So I imagine her expectations are going to be in managing what’s proven profitable and winding down what’s been proven to be outside of what they’re good at

Keep increasing battery size and range until they’re ready to just go full EV

Ryubing has given me no trouble on Linux. Eden on Android is progressing. Things are slower but the takedowns started after things became solid

On a Redmagic 11 right now. I can run cyberpunk but instead I’ll play something lighter like Sifu or even lighter like Hades 2. Being able to play cyberpunk means I can play thousand’s of other games. It means any game that can run of a ps4 or lower can conceivably run on a high end android phone

Unity is a slow bleed. They’re going to keep losing indies to godot and it doesn’t look like they’ll out-compete Unreal for AAA. Anytime I read about unity, users complain about new features that are half baked coming out while the previous new features are still half baked. Screams marketing driven development rather than user driven
I once tried to use Amazon Prime Music and the app ended up being incredibly crappy and the catalog poorly handling artists with the same name. I quit Kindles when I realized Amazon was more out of touch than Microsoft
