    This week, JD Vance turned up in Budapest for a two-day visit, the US vice-president telling reporters that his aim was to “help” Orbán win. The US president, Donald Trump, has also repeatedly endorsed Orbán

    If I was Orban, the last thing I’d want is the endorsement of a universally-hated demented pedo with a genocidal penchant who’s wrecking my country’s economy along with the entire world’s, and his creepy sidekick with as much charisma as a genital wart.

        I think you are. Orbán’s past electoral successes had a vital component which is simply missing now. Long story short, Hungarians see this guy and his successors as the greater evil for them, and it’s hard to argue with that. There is now a true alternative to both Fidesz and this so-called “old opposition” (óellenzék).

          I’m more talking about how he’s Kremlin linked, and they’ve surely rigged the voting system by now. I’m sure the people want him gone, I’m just not sure the people have the voice they think they have. Same w the US.
