Corporate Slavery is much more nihilistic really especially at the pace Texhnolyze sets it at, it implies an enforced lack of meaning to life valuable to anyone other than the select few above. One major thing that points towards this happens later on in the show and--while it maintains its subtleties--it's pretty clear how it presents "peace" or "stability", and it's definitely no Utopia.

Texhnolyze is an awesome and utterly smothering nightmare of a show, It's good you remember so positively on it but there's still more to be had (like most things) <3

Texhnolyze is a Nihilistic take on how we're raised like animals to be corporate slaves and freedom is only an advertised product. Saw you wrote that you didn't get it, not necessarily about the human condition, tho Texhnolyze is certainly quite philosophically rich just got one meaning

Well I just finished the live action show and it turns out I really love One Piece how ironic...

I don't have a clear opinion on One Piece yet that was the anime and I had to sit through those early for kids episodes. I'm reading the manga I know it's good. And I'm not sure why you would let 1 bad episode ruin an entire show, the Japanese and anime especially are known for having extremely mediocre or bad endings.
