The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact.

Everyone clapped. Someone handed over a hundred dollar bill. The name of that Bill? (Bill Clinton/Benjamin Franklin/Albert Einstein)

metalcore got assigned anakin, it’s there to be made fun of. you are tangentially involved in “heavy metal”, “progressive metal” and “folk metal”.

There are some themes of identity and perception of body and female super mutants, which are ideas that resonate with trans people.

I’d be interested in seeing similar modern takes on that era, but not Disney and certainly not Mickey.

Jesus christ you’re awful with names for your kids.

I hope you two didn’t choose the name that has the beautiful meaning of “lightbringer” and end up naming one of your boys “Lucifer”

I forgot that yeah, part of the hype was the re-useable rockets and their landing, which wasn’t going new places, but was doing something new.

is this 4chan in the ‘10s or something?

40s/50s. No more black and white bopping characters, before the cheaper limited animations of the 60s. Bugs bunny and Tom and Jerry would stretch, transform and push what the medium could do with huge expressiveness and inventiveness.

1) Plenty of people were interested in Spacex flights. People did sour after he stopped looking like iron man and started being lex luthor by opening his mouth more 2) Artemis is still not as impressive/envelope pushing to joe sixpack, since it’s “just” flying around the moon again. By this time, we are expecting moon bases or other advances of technology, since you know, actually LANDING on the moon started in the late 60s. It’s been 60 years.

Franco’s spain (and I, like everyone else had no fucking clue about Salazar) was basically proof that ww2 wasn’t about “ending fascism” or anything noble like that; Germany grabbed too much that the allies couldn’t ignore it, and once that was done, all finished. Churchill had “operation unthinkable” but I don’t think that was as much an anti-authoritarian move as it was a “fuck the left wing anything” move.

Since, you know, it’s Churchill, who gave us such bangers as :

I am strongly in favour of using poisoned gas against uncivilised tribes […] gasses can be used which cause great inconvenience and would spread a lively terror

And Operation Get Behind the Aussies

every “there’s a murder in this sleepy village” crime story starts with something like that.

“I was just walking my dogs, when they sniffed out this bloody axe. That sort of thing never happens in Sleepyville!”

Dull Love story : dull man has dull wife he does dull things with.

A dully happy ending

somehow a milk carton that looks like a mix between an asian stereotype and an easter island head looks like the eastern european first lady of the US

moved from QA and testing to developer roles, but usually as an internal transfer.

yeah. My current company botched mine.

yep, the reply isn’t so much for you, just reminding people that various activities can offer this, and it’s more accessible than one may think.

This post has appeared in multiple places. It’s useful , but it ruins the development career potential of people that stick with it, because any subsequent job application just sees “TESTER” and not “DEVELOPER” and bars you from changing specialization.
