I am a solo developer on some of these platforms and have to do an annual privacy evaluation which I find painful as the company taking up my valuable time to answer all their BS questions, are the ones breaking privacy. Insane. Further, I had to pay $100 annually to the UK privacy commission as it is required for all UK companies which is also deeply ironic as the same government is requiring you to submit ID for some websites which has made the privacy leaks even more damaging.

As a solo developer I am feeling the brunt of the privacy charades while the big companies just continue to violate privacy unchecked. I have zero desire or intentions to break anyone’s privacy an ask for no information from anyone outside of pulling down their profile to sign in as is required to determine app permission. That is it. No phone numbers, no real names, no biometrics, no photos of ID or anything outside of those username on that platform but I am burdened as if I was collecting all of this and as if I was the one breaking privacy. This world is mental.

Looks like Zuck is all in and has no choice but to support evil, because if/when the evil collapses, so does Zuck. Must be stressful for him as history has shown that this behaviour eventually catches up to them. Sadly, some make it too old age and run entire countries before it catches up which causes a lot of unnecessary suffering.

I too feel uncomfortable, but I have also felt uncomfortable with the exploitations that happen to make most products for the West and yet few cared for many decades. People only seem to care when it directly impacts them. It is like we had our chance to protect others and we utterly failed.

That is projection on your part as I am in no way defending that group, more pointing out that is not exclusive to one race or another and calling it out like you did is just racist. Calling out the sociopaths and psychopaths who tend to get into leadership positions is what we need to do and not an entire group of people most of which are just living there lives peacefully. People who are behaving horribly need to be brought to justice, all of them, regardless of race as they are in every single race and are THE thorn in the backside of humanity.

That is just being racist as countless studies show this is a human race issue not a white men only.

Like you seem more upset at a stranger on the Internet calling out everyday non MAGA Americans for not doing enough and you call that person the psychopath and sycophant, yet not your President who is actually the psychopath and sycophant who is going to directly impact your life in negative ways because you and others have essentially allowed it to fester and grow. Looking at your post history, you do not even seem that mad at the situation around you and this seems to be a common thread. Like sure, you are clearly not loving the station as you see yourself at the victim which is fair as you likely do not vote for Trump, but he really is the epitome of evil and is so clearly dragging your country which I also love, into what is looking like hell for anyone not aligned to his evil views. Maybe my comments has you thinking too about how you can do more as you can be the victim and accept till it is so painful you finally act. Hopefully in a non violent way, but the longer you and the good Americans delay their response the more it will be forced into violence and I rather not see my friends and neighbours how to go through this.

I am sorry I triggered you. My intent is to use shame and shock to wake Americans up who are passive. Time to act. Hope you are taking measures to resist, even in small ways out side of online complaining and the odd ineffective protests. Download the apps that you can scan barcodes and see if you are inadvertently about to support a MAGA business that is undermining you and good people. The tools to address non violently are at your disposal if you choose and the longer they are not used, the more likely violence is coming. Hope this message is processed by you with the intent I am trying to put out, perhaps ineffectively. Feel free to suggest how I can help motivate Americans to join Canada in the boycott.
