Mine notifies when it hits 10%, but it is easily missed. I wish it was a persistent overlay rather than a quick flash, i also wish it s at 25%.

Does not seem to work on ipad with safari. It asks if I want sound or not, then a black screen, even when content blockers are disabled for the site.

ETA: if you hit skip it works fine.

Yet the recent on-stage “disembowelment” of President Donald J. Trump pissed off the MAGA cult so you know what that means — they sent death threats to the guys parading around as fake intergalactic aliens in fake armor.

Is there a resource where I can enter a character's name and get a list of their appearances?

I used to own a comic shop, since I stopped I have been pretty OOTL regarding what is out there. But there are a few characters I like to keep up with. I check out the weekly lists here, but that does not always paint a complete picture, plus that is new stuff would like to check up on what I have missed since 2019.

YSK Your smoke detectors should be replaced every 7-10 years

Yesterday while cooking I set off the smoke detector, no I did not burn anything. They go off when I cook over a high heat. And yesterday once they started going off they would not stop. I ended up having to disconnect them all (they are hard wired with an interconnect) and I replaced them this morning. Aaaaaaaand let me tell you, I had a sleepless night last night knowing there were no detectors installed.

2007 Boston Mooninite panic

On the morning of January 31, 2007, the Boston Police Department and the Boston Fire Department mistakenly identified battery-powered LED placards depicting the Mooninites, characters from the Adult Swim animated television series Aqua Teen Hunger Force, as improvised explosive devices (IEDs), leading to a massive panic. Placed throughout Boston, Massachusetts, and the surrounding cities of Cambridge and Somerville by Peter “Zebbler” Berdovsky and Sean Stevens, these devices were part of a nationwide guerrilla marketing advertising campaign for Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters.

Why do so many shows end up being cop shows?

I was looking for a new TV show to watch on prime and started Colony, and half way through the first episode it is revealed it is a cop show. It looks like there is an anti cop element to it, but I am tired of cop shows at all.

Mouse Clicks not registering in desktop mode

Lately my Stream Deck has not been accepting “mouse” clicks, whether it be my trackball, the touch pad on my keyboard, or the Steam Deck’s own hardware buttons. A restart of the deck had been working, but today it does not. Also now when restarting, the Deck boots into game mode instead of back into desktop.
