I’m currently watching Twin Peaks, as it’s available in the ARTE media library. A very strange series.

Pretty short film but well rounded, easy watch spy thriller where the end game is not what it seems

Saw this this week end, a little old but a good watch

A comment thread in another post brought up this show and kind of revealed that it's a hidden gem not many people know about, so I figured it'd be advantageous to post it here.

I just leared about this documentary. They managed to get most if not all of the people you'd want to hear from. Although a huge fan, I'm not sure I can watch 5 hours of this all at once, but I'll definitely make my way through it gradually.

I just found out there is a series about Captain Nemo called Nautilus, but cannot find anywhere to stream it. Anyone know where in the US I can find it?

If you are not familiar with the works of Peter Watkins, you really should be. Almost all of them are fake documentaries, but by no means funny ones. His film about nuclear war and it's aftermath, The War Game, is so incredibly grim and depressing that the BBC, who commissioned it, refused to show it for decades.

Brief (not very good) synopsis:

It has the occasional humorous moment and overall was an enjoyable watch. It kept my interest the entire time largely due to it steering clear of too many typical horror tropes and how unpredictable it was.

When an archaeologist uncovers a strange skull in a foreign land, the residents of a nearby town begin to disappear, leading to further inexplicable occurrences.
