honestly the only major safety issues with EVs is tesla specific and their ultra retarded door handle system. Yes lets take a simple mechanical system that has worked great for 200 years and make it an electric button, then hide the real mechanical release in a spot that you can’t find when panicked and choking to death on smoke. Great job, so futuristic.
Bigger issue overall is fire departments dragging their feet on not having the correct gear/training to handle self sustaining lithium fires. Gasoline is easy to suppress and dilute, lithium not so much, since it’s difficult to get water directly to the cells to cool them below autoignition point.

Add more 3-5 more top layers of red petg to make it more opaque. It may also help to use a different infill style, like lightning, or increase density/add multi-line.

The world has been gradually de-dollarizing for over a decade now. USD held as global currency reserves has fallen from 70% to 40%. BRICS nations are implementing their own payment systems based on the renminbi, and the eurozone obviously can operate independently already.
A lot of global value is tied up in US investment systems, sure. But a nuke drop would make that value not very valuable anymore. It would suck and the world would be stuck in another great depression, but the rest of the world has plenty of functional financial systems to keep moving on.

Americans are isolated by a very carefully crafted coccoon of corporate media sources that generally downplay, spin or ignore real humanitarian stories when they make the US looks bad. This has been the norm since Bush Sr. And I say this as one, because I’ve completely eliminated all conventional media from my life because it’s fucking useless.
Snippets the media drop about a far off war do not register with the US public until it hits their pocket books, probably because said media has conditioned them to be numb to war being the default state.
It looks like there’s two meshcore nodes in my area but the guys I talk to on Meshtastic don’t seem to know anyone else who uses meshcore. I might get an extra device and flash it to Meshcore to experiment.
We are mostly rural though so Meshtastic’s dense flood system works better here.
Ok, I got a response from Rokland- according to their engineers, their fiberglass antennas use a internal matching balun/coil that appears as low resistance to DC, so the measurements I took via multimeter are normal. Its not an open loop.
I am going to do some longer term A/B testing using my handheld device and 30min/1hr of monitoring and probably RMA this antenna at the end of it, because something still seems off.

Numerically snr and rssi are the ONLY ways to measure connection quality.
One can have a high rssi but a low snr depending on noise floor. So realistically snr is the only number that matters.
Your SNR values are a little low on average and kind of random without much change in rssi- either this mesh has a lot of mobilenodes or you have some intermittent noise sources nearby. That said, LoRa works most reliably with any SNR above -10 and intermittently above maybe -16 depending on your local mesh’s radio settings.
