Moscow has accused London of direct involvement in the ongoing conflict with Iran, arguing that allowing US forces to use British military bases to launch strikes against Iranian targets undermines London’s claims of neutrality.

Russian Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Andrei Kelin, told the Novosti news agency on Sunday that this action constitutes “direct intervention, no matter how the British government tries to portray it,” adding that the Iranian leadership “is taking these developments into account.”
