Haha, I appreciate it, but it really was just a one-off suggestion when she posted in Lemmy.ml’s communism community. It was a single comment, nothing more.
Welcome! Glad to see that you took my advice from the other post! I hope you have a good time here. If you want to learn more, I wrote a basic study guide, feel free to check it out and see if it helps!

25·4 days agoThe DPRK “threatens” by having working deterrence, which allows breathing room for development. Overall, the DPRK has been enormously peaceful, while the US Empire doesn’t just threaten but is actively bombing civilians as we speak. The genocidal US Empire is enormously evil.

World News@lemmygrad.ml•Megathread for the US war on Iran | Week 15 of 2026
20·5 days agoThis is a genuine risk. Not only would it cause mass death and destruction, but the consequences would be catastrophic. It wouldn’t open the strait, it would just kill countless innocents and result in Iran pulling out all of the stops. May the people of Iran stay safe.
If only Russia put Iran under their nuclear umbrella…
He’s crashing out hard this time, it’s very funny to see and further proves what we already know about how the imperialist war on Iran is actually going.
Hitler: …a very serious danger, perhaps the most serious one - it’s whole extent we can only now judge. We did not ourselves understand - just how strong this state [the USSR] was armed.
Mannerheim: No, we hadn’t thought of this.
Hitler: No, I too, no.
Mannerheim: During the Winter War - during the Winter War we had not even thought of this. Of course…
Hitler: (Interrupting) Yes.
Mannerheim: But so, how they - in reality - and now there is no doubt all they had - what they had in their stocks!
Hitler: Absolutely, This is - they had the most immense armaments that, uh, people could imagine. Well - if somebody had told me that a country - with…(Hitler is interrupted by the sound of a door opening and closing.) If somebody had told me a nation could start with 35,000 tanks, then I’d have said: “You are crazy!”
Mannerheim: Thirty-five?
Hitler: Thirty-five thousand tanks.

22·6 days agoHave a good week, everyone. Hold your ground, stay the course. The battle ahead of us is a long one, and it has already been a long one still, but we will win nonetheless.
As always, communism will win.

Ask Lemmygrad@lemmygrad.ml•Request for specific reading list
6·11 days agoThanks for linking my guide! I want to add that that version is now considered “unsupported,” and will eventually get an overhaul. The currently “supported” list is my new basic study guide, which reflects what I’ve learned from making the older guides. Better flow, more succinct, and increased engagement with the follower via study questions and artwork.

ProleWiki@lemmygrad.ml•Can someone explain why Laos is not a socialist state according to the wiki?
17·12 days agoIt looks like it’s counted as socialist, with the form of a people’s democratic state as lined out in their constitution. It says so on the main page for Laos.
The Laotian constitution states that the LPRP “is a people’s democratic state” defending “the interests of the multi-ethnic people of all social strata with the workers, farmers and intelligentsia as key components.”[2]
The Lao People’s Democratic Republic is one of only five socialist states in the world today (alongside Vietnam, Cuba, People’s Korea and China). The Lao PDR adheres to Marxism–Leninism and Kaysone Phomvihane Thought as its guiding ideology.
Happy birthday!!! Or late birthday, haha.
I have ADHD! What works for me is summarizing every couple of paragraphs or each important point in a line or two in a note app I have. I have notes for every major article or book I read (except for fiction), which helps me retain that information too.

I really do think Lemmygrad is one of the kindest and most relaxed spaces in social media.
