For those of you who may not know, our local church asked us all to read a book and participate in one of a couple of discussion nights about it:
The Tangible Kingdom: Creating Incarnational Community by Hugh Halter and Matt Smay
Mission is a favorite word around Core, and this book discusses ways to be more intentional about living missionally in everyday life, i.e. not having church be separate from your everyday life, and how to make church more accessable to the non-churched while standing firm on the gospel.
Fellow church goers — first discussion group tomorrow night. Who’s coming? Feel free to give a shout out in the comments 🙂 Later this week, I hope to share here some of the thoughts/ideas from the discussions. Until then … I’ve got a book to finish!
