With the passing of the great Catherine O’Hara I’ve started to rewatch Schitt’s Creek and if you didn’t watched it I urge you to do so. That’s great television

CBC made a « 100 facts you should know about Schitt’s creek » and Oh my God 🤩 I’m falling in love with them all over again

I watched it a couple months ago and it was better than I expected. It took me a while to warm up to the main characters, but a big part of it is watching them grow as people and become likeable. Johnny was my favorite, he seemed the most reasonable and sympathetic of the bunch to me

The first season can be rough as the family is so unlikable, and the comedy comes down to rich assholes yelling at each other. But the joy of the show is that you see the way that community changes them for the better. I don’t think the comedy changes between seasons, but there is more nuance to the characters and their comedy by the time the show concludes.

    Definitely worth a watch

Chris Elliott’s character is pretty insufferable in the first season too. Glad they toned him down later on. But I agree completely worth the watch.

The daughter stars in “Kevin can go Fuck himself” and it is criminally underrated.

No idea where it’s streaming these days, but definitely worth the effort to find it somewhere

Her actress work in the show is incredible but I can understand that her depiction is not for everyone
