Another iceberg reaching the surface one year after the initial core session. On July 16th, 2025, I recorded a two hour jam initially entitled 'We'll see' with Arturia synth, effects pedals and Reaper.

I aimed for dark ambient soundscapes.
For once I guess I stayed quite well on track!

I was recently (July 8th) contacted by one of the well-known artists that has installations at the Saatchi Gallery exhibition, The Sun and the Moon – Art Inspired by the Celestial, saying that my music and atmosphere has been enjoyed and perhaps some connection can be made. I will update if there is a response to my enthusiastic and flattered reply... We'll see!

The recording preceded this initial contact, but in revising the completed album the following day, there felt some connection between that message and the soundscapes here. Maybe I do believe in the possibility of cosmic events and higher connections after all... maybe I always did, or maybe I've just overthought endlessly and lost my mind entirely...

Once more, we'll see!

I hope you will enjoy.

Many sessions, versions, listens and concept shifts followed the initial recording until happily being 'called complete in my mind'. That phrase has proved useful over the years, and helped me eventually let go of so many releases.

I always said with my music projects, albums, tracks, videos, once they are done and 'out there', published, whatever, then they have done all the things I needed them to do for me. Wherever they go afterwards, if they can do something for someone else, then that's a bonus. It's just nice to know that it's out there and for that time, in its creation, in its details, I was there and I existed. It is very easy to feel like you don't exist, anywhere, even when you literally connect with people in real life.

One thing to remember, it's not always a bad thing. Most people need space at some point; to be able to recharge, to have more time to examine and understand themselves, their situations and their mind. Never think of being on your own as negative; take it as an opportunity to reset your brain if you need to, to learn and know who you are, what and where you want to be.
