If lightning strikes down a tree in a forest and no one heard or ever sees it, how do we know if it happened? I didn't see or hear the lightning bolt hit the centre of my spine, but I know it happened and it changed and shapes the whole of my existence. A truly insane feeling.

about

We drove for thousands of kilometres, taking in some strange, interesting, exciting, bizarre places along the way. We had no real destination. We just wanted to feed our curiosity with the journeys, the experiences, the kamaraderie...

Eventually we reached a dilapidated abandoned town with the ominous name, 'Sufferer'. Actually, due to the heat, the map being very vague and our own delirium from earlier events, we weren't entirely sure what city we were closest to, or what the date was.
It all seemed irrelevant now.

The sign on the side of the road showed 'Population: 3' with the words 'You must rest here a while' underneath.

We felt it too good to be true that a place so intriguing and eerie had presented itself to us along our journey and by chance, so, we followed the sign's advice and decided to rest.

Upon investigation of the dusty, litter strewn streets, we found a small room which still had some electricity.

We set up our instruments, and pressed record....
