Silent Crime: what’s anti-social behaviour like where you are?

We’re speaking to people in Cardiff about anti-social behaviour in their area.

00:00No, we don't. It's quite quiet really, not too bad.

00:04But there's no pubs round by us now, so it's not so bad,

00:07cos there's no pubs there, so it's fine.

00:09Yeah, I do. Like, there's a lot of shoplifting,

00:12there's a lot of drug use around this area,

00:16and I see a lot of people just kind of hanging about

00:20and looking a bit suspicious,

00:22which is quite unnerving for maybe older people around this area.

00:27The bags keep getting stolen from outside people's houses and stuff.

00:31That's obviously not good.

00:33So, like, especially for, like, older people,

00:36they don't really know where to access new ones and stuff,

00:39so it's just...it's inconsiderate.

00:42It's not as clean as it used to be all those years ago.

00:46I suppose that's really one thing that you would say is disappointing.

00:50Lot more people begging as well,

00:52but no antisocial behaviour or issues that I can see

00:57in the short time we've been down here.
