Where the West Indies ended their Sri Lanka tour.. the way it started...with a victory.

The host.. had already won both the T20 and ODI series...

But Evin Lewis smashed an unbeaten century.. to give the West Indies a consolation eight-wicket win.. in the rain-affected final ODI

00:00West Indies made three changes bringing in Evan Lewis and Matthew Ford for their
00:05first starts while making 17-year-old Joel Andrew the Windies youngest ODI
00:09debutant. Despite the changes the hosts would feast early setting the pace.
00:16West Indies only joy coming with a score on 81 when Avishka Fernando was caught
00:21and bowled. A lengthy delay due to rain would reduce of the contest to a 23 over
00:26affair and Sri Lanka would continue where they left off tormenting the
00:30Windies bowlers. And the Caribbean men didn't help themselves dropping five
00:36catches. After Partham Nisanka was run out on 56, Kusal Mendes would keep
00:45powering the host with a half century of his own. He remained unbeaten on 56 as
00:50Sri Lanka amassed 156 for three of their 20 overs. The revised target however for
00:56the Windies was 195 in 23 overs. And after captain Shea Hope had
01:05asked for more of his top order batters they would answer the call as Lewis and
01:10Brandon King were looking to keep pace with the run rate. Even when the
01:13partnership ended on 36 with the fall of King on 16, the Windies would remain
01:22positive as Shea Hope and Lewis kept the runs flowing. Hope though fell with the
01:30score on 108 for two after a solid stand of 72. Lewis was the anchor with a half
01:39century to his name but Sheafin Rutherford was aggressive too. Lewis
01:46would display his power despite hobbled with a leg injury as he moved into the
01:5090s. Rutherford would get to his halftime but Lewis would bring
02:03home the victory and his milestone in style.
02:21That's his fifth century and third against Sri Lanka.
