The Tobago Business Chamber chairman Martin George said the Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar might have been caught unawares with the announced election date.

00:18you know, maybe either unawares or maybe flat-footed or maybe at least certainly not ready yet with their full list of 41 candidates
00:27because they've not yet announced a full list of 41 candidates and in fact they've made it clear they're not even thinking of contesting Tobago
00:36so not even the 39 that one would imagine they would have, they seem to be ready with it
00:42Any which way one looks at it, it really comes down to the question of two dominant parties
00:49that is the PNM and the UNC with whatever version of an arrangement or accommodation or coalition the UNC may form with the other smaller parties
