Now Trinidad and Tobago's Squash team is preparing for their next challenge after a record breaking run at the Junior Caribbean Regional Squash Association Championships in the Cayman Islands. They too are preparing for the Pan American Junior and Senior Games. The team recorded their highest ever medal count at CASA with four in total which saw them finish third overall.

00:00A landmark achievement. That's how coach of the Trinidad and Tobago squash team Ryan Jagasa is describing their outing at the Junior Caribbean Regional Squash Association Championships at the Cayman Islands.
00:11He says it's the first time that they've ever won four medals at the competition.
00:16Gold in the boys doubles, bronze in the girls team event, silver in the boys team event and overall team silver behind second place Barbados and winners Guyana.
00:25I was very happy with the team's performance. The team went over and beyond this year and everybody performed really well.
00:31Eight countries took part in the tournament.
00:34Did you see any future Olympians?
00:36Well that's a hard question. Remember we are way behind in the wheel and squash in the sense of we have no pros. You know, maybe in eight years time.
00:47Seth Tong finished second in the boys under 19 category and he also won gold in the doubles match with Anthony Allum.
00:53It's the first time TNT has ever won a doubles event at Casa.
00:58As of right now I train in New Jersey in Blair Academy. So I've been training very hard in the States and I've been putting in a lot of work ever since I tore my shoulder. So I think me and my partner, we've been putting in the work.
01:14There were numerous other trophies that were won. 17 players represented the country. Next up, they will be preparing for the junior and senior Pan Am competitions at the end of August.
