00:00Hello there, good evening. Did you catch any showers today or were you lucky enough to see a return of the sunshine?
00:06Well, as we progress through into the evening, there will be plenty of clear skies, particularly across the far east and southeast.
00:12We'll still see some showers for a time across the west, but eventually these will ease away through the early hours of the morning.
00:18Though we might see a return of the clouds, some showery outbreaks just starting to push into western parts of Wales, parts of Devon and Cornwall.
00:25But for many of us, it should be a mostly dry night, plenty of clear skies, which may mean that we'll see some mist and fog, particularly in prone spots by the time we reach the early hours of the morning and feeling a little cooler and fresher by the time we start Tuesday too.
00:39But the day itself should be fairly similar to what we've had today.
00:43Still a risk of showers once again across the west, mostly isolated.
00:47Northern Ireland, northwestern parts of England could catch some showers, but the main bulk of the showers will be across southern parts of Wales and parts of southwest England.
00:55Once again, there'll be plenty of sunshine, particularly across eastern areas.
00:59But as we see a build of high cloud in the west, that sunshine will turn a little bit hazier.
01:04The breeze picking up here too.
01:05Highs reaching around 21 to 22 degrees Celsius.
01:10Through into the evening, we just need to keep an eye on this area of rain across parts of the southwest.
01:15It will slowly skirt its way eastwards.
01:17We could see some heavy bursts amongst this area of rain too, along with quite blustery conditions, particularly across exposed coasts.
01:25This area of low pressure eventually starting to swing in longer spells of rain through the course of Tuesday evening too.
01:30So showers continuing before we see more persistent outbreaks of rain later into the day.
01:36So Wednesday is set to be unsettled.
01:38It's probably going to be quite a cloudy start for many of us.
01:41A risk of showers once again drifting their way eastwards.
01:44We'll start to see the breeze pick up before we do see this next band of rain push in from the west.
01:48Quite blustery with some heavy spells of rain mixed in there too, possibly even some hail and thunder.
01:54So quite an unsettled and possibly quite wet day by the time we reach the afternoon on Wednesday.
01:58But still, once again, some sunny breaks across eastern areas mixed in with the showers.
02:03Temperature's not getting quite as high.
02:05Highs reaching more like 20 to 21 degrees Celsius in any sunshine.
02:08But for the bulk of us, temperature's just pushing into the high teens.
02:13Then for the rest of the week, it is set to remain changeable.
02:17As low pressure sits to the northwest, we continue with a westerly flow.
02:20At times, dragging in some showers and once again, some longer spells of rain.
02:24But hopefully in between any showers, there will be plenty of bright and sunny spells.
02:28We'll see you next time.
