00:13Perak Fire and Rescue Department Acting Operations Assistant Director Shazleen Mohamed Hanafia

00:18said the department received a distress call at 8.06 a.m. before dispatching nine personnel

00:25from the Ipoh Fire and Rescue Station to the scene.

00:29The male driver was trapped in his seat and confirmed dead at the scene by Health Ministry

00:34personnel.

00:35The victim's 48-year-old wife was given initial treatment before being taken to the hospital.

00:41Shazleen added that the rescue team used hydraulic equipment to extricate the victim before handing

00:47the case over to the police for further action.
