00:00Oregon is taking the White House to court, filing suit to block President Trump's plan to send 200 National Guard troops to Portland.
00:10The lawsuit came just hours after Governor Tina Kotek received a memo authorizing a 60-day federally controlled mission to protect federal sites where protests are occurring or likely to occur, according to Fox News.
00:23On Saturday, the president posted that he directed Secretary Pete Hegseth to send all necessary troops to protect war-ravaged Portland and any other ICE facilities under siege.
00:35The Pentagon declined to comment, citing ongoing litigation. State leaders pushed back.
00:40There is no insurrection. There is no threat to national security. And there is no need for military troops in our major city.
