00:00Run out the table, onto the floor, and in my party ball, run out of the door.
00:08Welcome to Miz Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the most difficult impersonations that celebs did perfectly.
00:15If you want a filthy story, you want that? I would do it.
00:18I would do it. I would love a filthy story.
00:21Number 10. Mark Hamill as Harrison Ford.
00:24So Harrison walks in, and he's just too cool for school. I mean, I just, instant idolization, you know.
00:30If anybody is going to impersonate Harrison Ford, it might as well be Mark Hamill.
00:35We were doing the scene where, it was right after we got out of the trash compactor.
00:39We hadn't filmed that scene yet, and I'm looking in continuity, and I said,
00:42well, wait a second, this is right after we got out of the trash compactor.
00:45Shouldn't my hair be all wet and matted with schmutz all through it?
00:49And he turns to me and says, hey, kid, it ain't that kind of movie.
00:54The two spent plenty of time together on screen.
00:57Hamill can remember the filming of Star Wars so well that he can summon his former co-star at will.
01:03I thought you said this thing was fast.
01:04Watch your mouth, kid, or you're going to find yourself floating home.
01:06We'll be safe enough once we make the jump to hyperspace.
01:09Reminiscing on Late Night with Seth Meyers, the guest snaps into a great impression of the legend.
01:15You can easily imagine Han Solo sitting in the very same chair.
01:19It's no wonder that the man has a knack for voices, with the man channeling his old friend.
01:24The Luke Skywalker actor really finds the gruff aspects of Ford's voice.
01:29If people are looking at your hair, we're all in big trouble.
01:33And I thought, he's so right.
01:41And next time I saw him, he said, hey, I don't sound anything like that.
01:47Number nine, Martin Short as Betty Davis.
01:51And what a pleasure to meet you.
01:57He's one of the most reliable talk show guests ever.
02:00Martin Short's talents include impressions, with the performer unafraid to do them in front of someone else.
02:06You had the nerve to come out and do her right away, huh?
02:08Well, I'm a tremendous fan of this young lady.
02:12He took an opportunity to impersonate his fellow guest on The Tonight Show.
02:16Short unleashes his impression of Betty Davis, but she doesn't seem to realize it at first.
02:23Much later in the segment, the Hollywood icon asks the comedian for a special request.
02:27His response is a fun and exaggerated take on the actress.
02:31Whether she likes the voice or not, her mixed reaction throws the episode for a loop.
02:36The SCTV star quickly recovers from the awkward moment after a brave performance.
02:41Melissa Villasenor as Kristen Wiig.
03:05We've also got funny lady Kristen Wiig.
03:08Hey.
03:09If you've seen this performer, you probably know that she's a gifted impressionist.
03:14Her work as Gwen Stefani is just one highlight in a stellar catalogue of characters.
03:19For a long time, I was in love.
03:23Beep, beep, beep.
03:23Beep, beep.
03:25When she was still on SNL, Melissa Villasenor also did this rare impersonation.
03:31One game show sketch allowed her to do a take on Kristen Wiig's more eccentric side.
03:36Hey, Mr. Hostman.
03:39Dumb, uh, why, why did I say that?
03:43Star Trek legend George Takai.
03:45Villasenor's work here is especially inventive, with few people taking up the same mantle.
03:51This skit showcases the same giddy energy Wiig generates when she impersonates the likes
03:56of Bjork.
03:57If you like swans, make them a dress.
03:59If you like screaming, make it music.
04:01This cast member salutes one of her predecessors.
04:05You cannot trust anybody ever.
04:10Stealing the scene with her take on a bubbly personality.
04:13I didn't throw anything.
04:16Why would you think I threw it?
04:19Because you are half giggling, and I saw you throw it.
04:22I'm sorry.
04:23I was just being weird.
04:24Sorry.
04:26I might do it again, though.
04:27Is that bad?
04:28Number 7.
04:30Billy Crystal as Yul Brynner.
04:32Yul Brynner was great in that movie.
04:35Yul Brynner could do anything.
04:36But did you know that Mr. Brynner was the original Babe Ruth in the Babe Ruth story, which later
04:42was played by William Bendix?
04:43During an appearance at the Academy Awards, Billy Crystal showcased his skill for impressions.
04:48His riff about film genres turns into a silly tribute to Yul Brynner.
04:53How can I make letter if you interrupt?
04:56And inhabitants of America shall be able to catch and tame them, and use them as beasts of burden.
05:03While it might seem like a dated impersonation, Crystal breathes new life into it.
05:08He envisions what it might have been like for Brynner to play a famous baseball player.
05:13Hey babe, gonna hit a home run today?
05:14I'm going to try.
05:18Boy, I tell you, the Chicago Cubs have got me nuts.
05:25The comedian blends the King and I and the Babe Ruth story into one brilliant cocktail.
05:30Using the target's unique accent, the performer draws a strong reaction from the audience.
05:36He's especially skilled at staying in character and even quoting famous lines from movie history.
05:42But there's a kid.
05:43There's a boy, a sick boy in Brooklyn.
05:45I promised him I did a single, a double, a triple.
05:47Oh, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
05:51It was good.
05:52Number six.
05:53Tom Hiddleston as Robert De Niro and Al Pacino.
05:57I do impressions of people that I admire and I sort of listen to them.
06:01Sitting on a couch during the Graham Norton show, Tom Hiddleston wowed a group of all-stars.
06:07I'm from now.
06:08When I go back in time, there's a time machine and it's kind of cool and it's kind of woody
06:15and you're just kind of, it's kind of awesome.
06:17The actor is a skilled mimic that's eager to please other guests like Robert De Niro.
06:22Hiddleston clearly loves the movie Heat, using it as a jumping-off point for dueling impressions.
06:28He finds a way to reenact one of the movie's famous scenes with precision.
06:32Not only can he do Al Pacino, the younger actor also does De Niro in The Man's Face.
06:38We're sitting here like a couple of regular fellas.
06:41I mean, you do what you do.
06:45I do what I gotta do.
06:48If I'm there and I gotta put you away, I won't like it.
06:54The older performer laughs along and reacts positively to the accurate impersonation.
06:59Using two distinct voices, this British star doesn't miss a beat with this high-wire act.
07:11What if you do got me boxed in?
07:15I'm not gonna put you down.
07:18Moving face to face.
07:20Yeah.
07:21Number 5.
07:22Jason Sudeikis as Philip Seymour Hoffman.
07:25You know, I think the whole Christmas experience is overrated.
07:28Big Ben.
07:29Charlie.
07:30In this SNL sketch, there are a slew of fun impressions.
07:34Bill Hader's Al Pacino starts things off, before Jason Sudeikis gives us a much different take on a Peanuts character.
07:41Charlie.
07:42What?
07:43You're out of eggnog.
07:44I'm out of eggnog.
07:45Yeah.
07:46You're out of eggnog?
07:48This whole party's out of eggnog!
07:50The latter performer plays Philip Seymour Hoffman as Linus.
07:54If that combination excites you, you're definitely our kind of comedy fan.
07:59This character actor receives the proper treatment.
08:02Thanks to Sudeikis' subtle work, the cast member goes to a place few have gone before,
08:07holding his own opposite a bold Pacino impression.
08:10It's a powder keg of mixed emotions and marble-mouthed tones.
08:14While it might not be pinpoint accurate, the impression does explore the spirit of Hoffman.
08:20You look like ****.
08:21You smell like ****.
08:23You're my friend, pig pig.
08:25Number 4.
08:26Chloe Fineman as Julianne Moore.
08:28Hey, is Julianne still here?
08:29Because I want her to hear this.
08:31Can you do a Julianne?
08:32I want to know what the Julianne impression is.
08:34Yeah, I was listening and I was like, what got cut?
08:38Known for her emotionally layered roles, Julianne Moore is no stranger to dramatic work.
08:43SNL cast member Chloe Fineman uses this as a jumping-off point for her impersonation.
08:49Moore comes out to witness the impression for herself,
08:52with Fineman ready to put it all out on the line.
08:55This includes a performance that's a mix between laughing and crying.
08:59Do a thing.
09:01Is this Julianne Moore laughing or crying?
09:04Fans of the Boogie Nights star might recognize the go-for-broke style of bold acting.
09:18The Oscar winner seems to be enjoying herself too, with positive reactions for the hilarious work.
09:24It's also fun when someone nails down such a specific side of an actor's style.
09:28That's amazing!
09:31That's really good.
09:32Yeah, let's do it together.
09:33Oh my god, I can't believe this is happening.
09:34Yeah, do it together.
09:35Here we go.
09:43Number three.
09:44Jinx Monsoon as Judy Garland.
09:47Hello, Ru.
09:48Yes.
09:49It's so wonderful to be here.
09:52It's wonderful to be anywhere, really.
09:55RuPaul's Drag Race fans know that Jinx Monsoon does a phenomenal Judy Garland impression.
10:05She's done this on TV and on her YouTube channel.
10:08During a Snatch Game segment, the performer became the Wizard of Oz lead in all her glory.
10:13Well, it's a set, Ru.
10:15It's not real.
10:18It's a cardboard set, darling.
10:21It didn't go anywhere.
10:22It's Hollywood.
10:23Yes, of course.
10:24Yes.
10:25The impersonation is especially lived in with a few quirks that are certifiably genius.
10:31She's able to capture the natural cadence of the star, becoming something closer to the woman's A Star Is Born days.
10:37Chris Hemsworth.
10:38Chris Hemsworth.
10:40His blank is bigger.
10:41We're looking for Hammer.
10:42Broom, I don't know if I'm...
10:44I don't think I'm playing the game correctly.
10:48Well, I said his last name is bigger.
10:52Oh, yeah.
10:53But I feel like I was supposed to have written something filthy.
10:58This includes the ability to sing just like her.
11:01It's a multifaceted turn that further proves Monsoon has Broadway chops.
11:05Now that we're at the midway point, is that my camera?
11:12Don't be jealous of my boogie.
11:20You can say that you are not...
11:26Well, I really loved Robin Williams for a long time.
11:32Very, very sincerely, I loved him.
11:34I thought, you know, when he was doing all the off-the-wall stuff.
11:37And then I sort of became fascinated with his very serious side.
11:41You know, he's always talking about the gift of laughter, Chief.
11:45You might know him from The Big Bang Theory, but Simon Helberg could be an impressionist
11:50in his own right.
11:51He spends part of this Conan segment singing the praises of Robin Williams.
11:56During the transformation, the guest can do the softer version of Williams.
12:01It's the gift of laughter.
12:02That's why I do it, Conan.
12:03You know, I want to go to Darfur with, you know, just give them the gift of laughter.
12:08Because, you know, you can't help but get a little bit...
12:12But, you know, to bring it down...
12:14This includes the more goodwill hunting side of his personality.
12:1835,000 people on their feet, yelling at the ball.
12:22But that's not because Fisk, he's waving at the ball like a madman.
12:24He's going, get over, get over, get over.
12:27And then it hits a foul pole.
12:29Oh, he goes, and 35,000 fans, you know, they charge the field, you know?
12:34Helberg then captures the fast rhythm and improvised nature of the comedian.
12:38He works comedy wonders here, finding the nuances of a legendary performer.
12:43Oh, because, you know, it's like, you know, nothing quells a starving African child's belly,
12:48like a lot of jokes, Conan, you know?
12:51You just want to go, right now, Gandhi's somewhere going,
12:54oh my God, if only I had known, but if I...
12:56Who said that?
12:57Not me, okay.
12:58It's even more impressive that he can do different levels of the real man's voice.
13:04Say hello to Mr. Happy.
13:06Whoop, don't boy.
13:07Stop it.
13:07Okay.

13:26Number 1.
13:28Jamie Foxx as Jennifer Hudson
13:29Jennifer Hudson, On Top of Spaghetti, I don't know how this would even happen.
13:35Anybody that's seen or heard Jamie Foxx perform knows he's an incredible artist.
13:40For this edition of Wheel of Musical Impressions, the actor once again shows off his singing jobs.
13:46I don't want to grow up.
13:49I am a Toys R.S. kid.
13:52The segment culminates with On Top of Spaghetti, in the style of Jennifer Hudson.
13:57On Top of Spaghetti, all covered with cheese, I lost my poor meatball, when somebody cheered.
14:18Impersonating his Dreamgirls co-star, Foxx modulates his voice like it's just another day at the office.
14:24Jimmy Fallon looks amazed as his guest delivers on a full-throated impersonation.
14:30By the final high note, the impressionist pushes his vocal cords to the limit.
14:35It's so shockingly good that it reminds you to never count out this man's talent.
14:40On Top of Spaghetti, all covered with cheese.
15:00Did we forget a tough impression that a celebrity did to perfection?
