00:00:45Damon's win pushed Team Body into a tie with Team Ryan Martin for third place.

00:00:51But unfortunately for Larry and Team Disco, they are still in dead last place.

00:01:42As we get closer to the end of the season, these team captains are making decisions, trying to make changes,

00:01:47and how to position themselves to win this $200,000 championship prize.

00:02:13Before the start of Race Your Way In, Disco Dean dropped Jerry Jensen down and picked Jerry Bird back up.

00:02:20And Bodie ended up dropping himself down and put Randy Williams in his place.

00:02:26But, unfortunately, neither one of those racers were able to race their way in and be in the 32 car field today.

00:02:32With that being said, I'm willing to bet that the changes are not done yet.

00:02:37So, I've been struggling with the fact of how **** that we've been doing.

00:02:42I say we, me, Birdman, and really anybody else that we get over here, but...

00:02:47Kai has been trying to get you since race one.

00:02:53And the amount of guilt that I feel because we are **** completely blowing it for you.

00:12:37The matchups are set for round one, and there are a couple interesting draws.

00:12:51Kai Kelly ended up drawing his new teammate Clay Cole, which means one of those drivers

00:12:56will go home only getting 10 points today.

00:12:59That's good news for the other teams, as this is a chance for them to gain ground.

00:13:04And there's also another matchup between Damon Merchant and Jim Howe.

00:13:08And there's no secret that those two guys do not like each other.

00:13:11There's been a lot of smack talk on the internet.

00:13:13Jim Howe seems to think that Damon Merchant is cheating, and he's been whining about it.

00:13:18So Damon Merchant is coming back with, he's not cheating.

00:13:21It's a typical he said, he said.

00:13:23They raced once back in New Hampshire, and Damon was able to get that win.

00:13:27But we'll see what happens here.

00:15:41going up to somebody who's a real good competitor you know there was a bunch of things going through

00:15:45my head my crew calmed me down let's see if we can't get this

00:15:48lizzie musey made it to the finals of last night's grade eight but her last two passes

00:15:59have resulted in fireballs coming out of the hood on the big end she's got a good crew behind her

00:16:04that supposedly fixed the problem but this will be her first pass since that happened

00:16:08and tony mckinney will take the win lizzie musey has to get out of the gas

00:16:48so it's invitational day in ohio saturday the big day we got the great car back that's the car that's

00:16:55won a lot of races for me it ran good last night now it's about making good tune-up decisions for

00:17:00this track is going to be really good but if we get past first round i feel pretty good about the

00:17:11day i haven't had a season win so hopefully at the end of the day i could be in the finals

00:17:22like i just want to race him because eventually i may get him here you go and but it never works

00:17:25out for him i drew one bad man ryan martin he has had it out for me like he's in beat me at

00:17:33every race i think i've ever been at it's been rough hopefully we make this time too i want some

00:17:44night the track seemed to be great but i had abandoned three runs last night max man car makes

00:17:53a move towards the wall has to get out of it this car is not liking this track

00:18:26i'm pretty stoked the data looks good so providing we don't have anything stupid happen we got a pretty

00:18:55go on and win this thing i know that sucks man i mean literally you help me work on my car all night

00:19:09it's me last night we stayed up till almost daylight clay cole ended up hitting the wall right after

00:19:21clay cole into the wall at the top end but his car made a really good pass we helped him rivet his

00:19:26front end back together because his front end was just destroyed it was terrible it had a four foot

00:19:30gaping hole in it we got it back together and uh now i got it you know that's one of the guys i

00:19:35didn't want first round you know i don't want clay to think be awkward or anything i know he's new to

00:19:39my team but uh always told my team to race me as hard as you can race me because if i can't beat you

00:19:45that means i can't beat the next person so if clay goes out there and beats me today that'll be 10

00:19:49points going to my team anyway i'm good with it

00:19:51and clay cole takes the win puts kai kelly on the trailer didn't see that coming clay cole

00:20:18knocks off kai kelly in the first round all right so me and clay put him in the beams

00:20:23you know we were side by side for probably 100 200 feet and he pulled on me in the middle a little

00:20:28bit and i started pulling on him on the big end

00:20:30he beat me by i don't know inches a fender you can't really tell at 200 miles an hour but it was

00:20:38a hell of a race and uh he kicked my ass i helped him put his car back together to roll up there

00:20:42and kicked my ass but it is what it is i'm not mad about it it was a good side by side race and

00:20:47that's what i live for and uh i got a teammate moving around too so it could have been me it

00:20:51could have been him it's the same amount of points no matter what next pair that's going to be rich

00:20:56brooder going up against cali mills battle of the blower cars right here ready to go you gotta win

00:21:04i got rich brooder i'm gonna go up there and do my job on the tree but if i get him on the tree i

00:21:11don't think he can really run me down i think that my car is running pretty good right now

00:21:15vegas was really rough for us we didn't make it down we got one good pass last night once we got

00:21:19the car figured out i think if we can make that pass again today and i can be on the tree then i think

00:21:29we'll be fine

00:21:59and rich brooder is going to turn on the wind light there like cali mills got loose they had to get

00:22:26out of it he had his foot in the beam and cali staged with his crew member's foot in the beam

00:22:31i mean normal racing that's a when two cars stage you have one car that will light the top bulb and

00:22:37then the other car will light the top bulb then they will move in to the next beam which is the

00:22:42bottom bulb once four bulbs are lit the cars will get on the limiters and wait for the green light to

00:22:47drop all right your foot was in the beam you can't do that she staged with your foot in the beams

00:22:53so where's my foot in the beam i'm telling you your foot was in wow she's while her light is in

00:22:59there while she's in right you got to look over there because you stepped in while she lit now she

00:23:02thinks it was the car she thinks it was the tree make sure yeah yeah so i mean if they start bitching

00:23:07about it they could have disqualified you could have been disqualified actually you were supposed to be

00:23:11out if they want to with it they may they may disqualify you just letting you know this isn't the

00:23:15first time we've had to deal with something like this last year robin roberts and sean had the same

00:23:20type of issue happen and we ended up rerunning that race and that's what we're talking about

00:23:24doing here as well that's on y'all if y'all want to that's on y'all if y'all want to do that

00:23:28yeah it's all right that's all up over there i'm sure that's on y'all she can at least get a rerun

00:23:34problem pull that thing off we got us undoing these bolts we came back looked at the car we've

00:23:40popped the burst panel on the blower we couldn't make the rerun we had the blower off and i said i came

00:23:45back here and it dropped the valve so more damage than fixing it in 15 minutes yeah i'll just go

00:23:51like we're gonna i'll take the loss you won that and then i'll still get them well thank you guys

00:23:55so we're on to the second round not exactly how it liked to have been in the second round

00:24:18my home state of ohio dragway 42 in west salem so today we have chuck 55 he's going to be out for

00:24:33some vengeance because we ran in bandamere and he knocked the tires off instantly and i got the wind

00:24:37light so i know he's going to be on his a game and my job is to turn the wind light on in my lane

00:24:42for my home state while i'm here

00:24:43going into uh first round with drew dean and i'm pretty excited about that i owe him one because
