William Weldon, known professionally as Casey Bill Weldon, was an America country blues musician born on February 2, 1901, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He began his career as a country blues musician and guitarist, known for playing slide guitar in the Hawaiian style. Weldon's breakthrough came with recordings for Bluebird and Vocalion labels, where he cut over 60 sides. Notable collaborations include sessions with Teddy Darby, Bumble Bee Slim, Peetie Wheatstraw, and Memphis Minnie. His solo hits included "Somebody Changed the Lock on My Door" (1935) and "We Gonna Move to the Outskirts of Town" (1936). By 1938, Weldon had stopped recording, and he passed away on September 28, 1972.
