Considering 1,559 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently complained about poor cellular coverage in populated areas, unexpected high monthly bills, and unhelpful customer support lines. Many people mentioned experiencing frequent dropped calls, slow internet speeds, and persistent billing errors that were extremely difficult to resolve through normal service channels. So Verizon Wireless made it right .!!!

So , when a company fumbles the ball ,as Verizon Wireless has done with me , in spades , I post it ...so , when they make it right ...I should also note it . I filed a formal complaints with their executive resolution Dept , by e mail , received an immediate email back from a woman named Tiffany . She called me a week ago , listened to my complaint , and told me she'd make it right . Today I got home to find a Fed Ex cardboard overnight envelope ....with a check inside from Verizon ...for $ 100 . So ., kudos to Tiffany , and to Verizon Wireless in this case of doing the right thing .!!!

About 8 months ago we switched from Tmobile to Verizon with the Promotion of paying off our Tmobile bill when we submitted our bill. We did that over 7 months ago and currently our Tmobile bill is in collection and my verizon bill is twice as much as originally stated in the Promotion. Am about to seek legal action soon

Poor connectivity

Poor connectivity, no matter if I’m in the open space without tall buildings or big trees around me, city center or suburban. I called several times about the problem, I was told a ticket was being created, that they’re actively trying to fix it and I will be followed up. Didn’t receive any follow up at all. In my residence, I have WiFi extenders because the whole household has1-2 bars around the house. I am traveling for work now and my signal is really bad. I have to wait a few minutes or have to start driving until I get a good signal and start the Google directions.

Per line connect charge of $20 per line. Terrible waits for customer service. Spotty service. No real value for the money. If by some chance you disconnect for payment, it's a $20 per line reconnect fee.. on a family plan that's expensive.

Waiting 4 months for $830 trade in reimbursement

I have spent four months and countless hours on the phone trying to get them to give me the $830 trade in value that they promised me for my old phone.

Every. Single. Rep. Tells you something different. They say they will call you back and they never do. It has become like a part time job trying to get this money.

The latest thing they told me (which was never expressed to me before) is that I have to provide my final bill from T-Mobile in order to get a digital gift card and of course T-Mobile is not making that easy so I'm spending all Sunday talking to two awful phone companies about getting what amounts to peanuts to them to be issued to me.

I am writing to formally express my extreme frustration regarding the ongoing billing issues, unauthorized charges, and administrative failures I have experienced with Verizon wuroess over the past year.
This ongoing nightmare has involved over 100 hours of phone time trying to resolve multiple compounding problems:
Unauthorized Services & Apparent Fraud: I was signed up for YouTube Premium and Hulu without my knowledge or consent—services I never ordered.
Harassment and Unsolicited Sales Tactics: I have experienced recurring issues ranging from persistent phone calls pushing unwanted upgrades whenever I decline, to broken promises of support.
Persistent Discount Failures: Despite repeated assurances, my Mobile + Home and other eligible account discounts have continuously failed to apply properly, resulting in continuous overbilling.
I have spent an unacceptable amount of time trying to fix these errors through standard customer service channels with no resolution.

Verizon Account

Verizon Account: 720-331-5223
Claim #: 500105927495

To Whom It May Concern,

On September 1, 2026, I filed a claim through Verizon/Asurion to have my phone repaired.

Since filing the claim, the system has continuously directed me to Castle Rock, Colorado, even though I live in downtown Denver. Traveling to Castle Rock for a cracked camera lens is unreasonable when there are Verizon-authorized locations much closer to my home.

I checked the status of my claim every day, hoping another repair location would become available, but nothing ever changed.

I contacted Verizon several times, but each call was handled by an AI system, making it nearly impossible to speak with a live representative. Finally, on October 2, 2026, I reached a customer service representative who scheduled an appointment for me at the Verizon store located at 622 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver, CO, between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

I arrived at 10:30 a.m. expecting assistance. Instead, I was simply told that nothing could be done and that I would have to travel to Castle Rock. What was most disappointing was that all four employees were available, yet not one of them offered to review my account or look for an alternative solution. A simple willingness to help would have gone a long way.

I have been a loyal Verizon customer for 25 years, and this experience has been extremely disappointing. I pay for device protection, yet when I needed assistance with a relatively minor repair, I received little to no customer service.

As someone who owns and operates a hospitality business, I understand the importance of customer service. I would never treat my guests or customers the way I was treated. Good service starts with listening, showing empathy, and making an effort to help solve the problem. Unfortunately, none of that happened during my visit.

At this point, I am seriously considering moving all three of my Verizon lines to another carrier. After 25 years of loyalty, I expected far better support than I received.

I would appreciate a prompt response and a practical solution that allows me to have my phone repaired at a convenient Denver-area location.

Don't expect consistent fair bills or…

Don't expect consistent fair bills or for promotions to last the full duration of the offer. I got baited into trading in my phone for "free" just to have them raise the price of my plan, trick me into changing to another that was the exact same service for less money, and then remove my trade in credit so I still end up paying more no matter what I do. Then have the nerve to tell me it's a good thing and better savings. This after the whole trade in promo was an issue because they told me my existing phone that physically received the offer by text didn't actually exist under my plan. The whole thing was a scam from the beginning.

Phone failed

Phone failed. AI assistant routed the call to the wrong number repeatedly. They referred me back to people who could care less. I guess they’re trying to make the AI look good. After over 30 years, I’m done.

Tech Support needs better training

I reached out to customer service to help with our network issue. Our phones have been on R and extended for the past 3 weeks. This has never happened before. The first person I spoke with was very helpful, but could not resolve the issue. I was connected with a Tier 2 tech support for further assistance. 3 hours later on the phone and constant troubleshooting (which none worked) both our phones stopped working. I had to drive an hour to see someone in person at a Verizon store to at least get our phones working. 15 minutes later, the store associate told me that they (verizon support) did not have the correct esim AND that our phone IDs and models did not match what they had in their system.

Can someone explain WHY tech support could not figure out these 2 issues? 2 hours wasted driving for a 15 minutes fix. At least our phones are working again, but the original issue is still not fixed.

After 11 years with Verizon and how much they cost, I am seriously considering dropping them.

ZERO STARS

ZERO STARS.
Because one is a participation trophy Verizon hasn’t earned.
Verizon customer service is a relay race where nobody knows what the **** they’re doing, the baton is your unresolved problem, and the finish line is getting hung up on. Every representative gives a different answer, promises a fix, and leaves you starting over.

I’ve been with them for OVER 6 YEARS.
To explain the absolute shit storm of issues I’ve survived within that timeframe would take forever, so I’ll just focus on the most recent ridiculousness here.

I moved less than a mile, and their home internet stopped working. 4 returned routers, 3 returned WiFi extenders, and countless wasted hours later, I switched to T-Mobile for home internet service.

**I work from home. This fiasco cost me a client and substantial income**
The promised credits and $400 in Amazon gift cards? Apparently on the same missing-persons list as their competence.

Then Verizon charged me for equipment I’d returned. Over three months and roughly 30 hours, 12 representatives confirmed receipt and told me to pay only what I actually owed. I did. They left over $1,000 in disputed charges on my account that would “drop off after the next billing cycle”.

Yesterday, I woke up to find that they had SUSPENDED MY MOBILE PHONE SERVICE. Because I didn’t pay them the money I I DO NOT OWE THEM.
Of course, I didn’t learn this information until I called and a robot answered, refusing to connect me to a human unless I agreed to pay.

After a series of calls telling the robot “no”, I tried saying “yes,” hoping to reach a human that way- instead the robot confirmed that it had just automatically processed a $1,000 + payment using, the bank account information on file.

After another 3-hour transfer marathon, a supervisor finally corrected the balance. “I have wonderful news!”, he announced, proudly. … Wonderful news? Really?

You fixed your own effing mistake.
That’s not wonderful news.
That’s the bare minimum.
3 months late.
But here’s your stale cookie, ig

I’m still here because of my remaining mobile device balances. If you’re considering Verizon, spare yourself. I signed up for phone and internet service, not an unpaid second job supervising their billing department.

Verizon's return policy

I do not have any problems about Verizons workers. The ones I can understand anyway. I've been a Verizon customer since, I guess since they came into this area. I do have a problem with the way they do business. I sent a jetpack back to them on the 1st of September and they told me on the 8th they had received it, but it hasn't been checked into the warehouse or wherever they check it in on the 16th of September. They told me on October 1st that it will take 2 billing cycles for them to reimburse me the money. It seems to me that a company as big as Verizon it wouldn't take that long nor would it take that long for them to cut my phone off if the situation was reversed.

I switched to Verizon after 25 years…

I switched to Verizon after 25 years with AT&T because of the offers they promised me. Six months later, I’ve received only one of the electronic rebates I was promised. Verizon says they lost the other rebate, and they have refused to return my phone.

I’ve spent countless hours contacting customer service trying to sort this out, but I keep getting passed around without a resolution. This has been the worst customer service experience I’ve had. If I could do it over, I would never have switched.

Their customer service is pathetic and moronic.

Their customer service is pathetic. I have been a customer for several years with 3 phones and last time I upgraded my personal phone I was out of town and all I got delivered was an empty box, because somebody stole the new phone. It took me 3 months to convince Verizon that I was the victim not the perpetrator. So now I am upgrading my phone again and I tell them not to deliver the new phone until I am home and have them get a signature once I have confirmed the contents. They tell me the phone will be delivered on 6th October. I have spent four hours on the phone and chat lines with five different individuals (Not AI) telling them I will not be home on that date and asked them simply to not deliver until I return home on 15th October from an overseas trip. For some inexplicable reason this is beyond their comprehension or ability. All I get from these morons is the courier will attempt to deliver 3 times and then return the package to the sender, and then if not delivered the order will be cancelled, despite the fact that I have already paid Verizon up front for the outstanding payment on my existing phone. What a crock of S**t. Just changing a delivery date should be simple right???

Worst Customer Service Ever

On August 23, 2026, someone went to Verizon in Peachtree City, Georgia and purchased a phone on my account. It took me 6 days to get my phone number back on my phone so my phone would work. That was only after approximately 5 hours on the phone with Verizon customer service and fraud department and three trips to Verizon stores. I was told that I would receive a $100.00 check for the inconvenience which I never did. Then on 9/7/2026, I received my bill for review and I was charged $100.00 extra dollars due to the fraud on my account. I spent another hour on the phone with a so called manager which assured me that the $100.00 would be put back in my bank account within 5 days. It has been two weeks and the money has not been put back on my account.
I have been with Verizon for over 5 years and never had one problem but this incident has showed me that Verizon has the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
The only good experience that I have had with this incident is the store manager from said store worked for hours until he was able to get my phone working. He was awesome.
