    It’s amazing how dead MeToo is since people decided Tara Reade was too inconvient. These freaks really are at this point happy to tell themselves that openly accepting a r*pist is the way to win when it’s not even the fucking general election yet! They don’t need to back this guy for dems to win (not that that would be an excuse, but just to explain how sick they are).

    Just cast this predator out and pick someone better! Dems (understandably) are highly inclined to cite open predators among the Republicans as a means of discrediting them, but that doesn’t work if you also accept predators. This doesn’t even make sense for Blue MAGA, though I guess it’s Blue MAGA’s truest expression.

      The especially weird thing about defending Swalwell on this is that the accusation is convenient. Democrats have been handwringing for months that they have too many candidates in California’s “jungle primary,” where everyone’s on one ballot and the top two candidates move on to the general election. The Republicans have two major candidates. The Democrats have several. So there’s been talk that the state might accidentally elect its first Republican since 2006. Swalwell dropping out is just what they need.

      So we’re in a position where establishment Dems (Pelosi, Swalwell’s own campaign team) are dropping their support, but the BlueMAGA crowd is coming to his defense.

    I remember Howie Hawkins had some quote in 2020 along the lines of “credible accusations should be investigated, and due process should be given to the accused.” I’ve yet to hear a better take on sexual misconduct accusations.

    This stupid fucker booted out one of the few cool congresspeople by taking office in the poor part of the sf east bay. I’ve met this piece of shit because he visited [a location]. He’s a completely vapid, workshopped, consultant-created candidate. A generic straight white male mouthpiece of the DNC that is only a household name because the party gives him media soundbyte clapbacks to trump. Words cannot portray how much I wanted this man to fail BEFORE I even knew of these SA allegations. Thee Eric, thee

      Did not merely take a photo, he repeatedly violated multiple woman’s boundaries including forced kisses and groping. The photo in question was just the thing with photo evidence from a series of complaints of sexual harassment from the same woman.
