My goto is French press with James Hoffmans technique, I add some cinnamon right after stiring and removing the foam and wait for about 10-15 minutes, don’t like it too hot, then put a paper filter I’ve cut into a circle (you get two from each filter with a 2 cup size press) before slowly pressing down the plunger. Then add a small pinch of salt and two small pinches of sugar to my cup before pouring, only enough of both to boost the flavor but not add any noticeable saltiness or sweetness.
I have never even had an inner monologue about wanting to support of continue consume the work of someone who made something I like after they’ve got outed for bad shit. It’s just and instant “damn, sucks to loose that thing but that’s all there is too it.”
I seriously don’t understand people who do that and the whole “separate the art from the artist” shit.
We have more than enough of literally everything, you aren’t giving up something that nothing else can replace. There’s more stuff to like and discover from nice people than anyone can fit in their lifetime.
What donation site? All the links posted here just show the mastodon.world logo, which is just a lemmy logo shaped planet on one and a speech bubble shaped planet on the others…
Have stopped a subscription I don’t have a use for anymore so I’ll jump on your ko-fi at the end of this month as the replacement for that. Absolutely deserved, hope you get all that’s needed! (Does ko-fi have reoccurring payments? Haven’t used it before, and I’d like to have an automatic monthly donation)
Never heard anything about that, got some info/links?
Thanks, now I imagined Rocky with perky titts.
The Swedish name translated: Inkward Tentacle.
Squids are called “bläckfisk” in Swedish, literally translating to “inkfish”.

4·21 小时前Oooh, very nice! Thanks for making and sharing!
Nope, never did. I do sometimes listen to online streams for specific genres etc. but never actually radio stations.
Nice!
Tip: grate an apple into your oats at the start when cooking them. Adds nice taste, texture and nutrition, extra nice with some cinnamon in there too.
Night shift is calmer and easier on many jobs who have them, not all though. This is more fitting for the people arriving at 6pm watching the day shift people being dead from the crazy day.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Recently started jogging 30 minutes twice a week. When does it stop feeling like I'm dying?
5·1 天前Ah, but the dying feeling isn’t because of your jogging, that’s just what it feels like to be alive right now (and probably any other time).

1·2 天前Hey, I’m not disagreeing with you or anything like that, but read what you type… possibly* will* (or they’ll), and also end that with a question mark. There’s absolutely no reason to have errors like that, you had all the time needed to read your own text and all the time after to fix it. No need to make yourself look incapable of using basic words, which I believe you definitely are (capable that is).
America and Americans plastering their flag and “fuck yuuuuh, 'Muricuh!!” on every possible square centimeter (not even gonna use imperial as a reference) never stops being one of the most cringe and constantly proven stereotypes of all time. I have this game where if youtube recommends a channel I haven’t seen before and it’s an American channel, I count the minutes until the US flag shows up in any way. It’s VERY rarely more than one video, no matter the length of videos that channel generally makes. The worst thing is when you find a channel you like and don’t think about it, it’s just people making videos about stuff they’re interested in, then they swivel the camera around and have an American flag the size of the fucking moon hanging on their wall. It’s so fucking weird, off putting, brainwashed and deeply stupid.

News@lemmy.world•Sam Altman’s coworkers say he can barely code and misunderstands basic machine learning concepts
2·3 天前Well, partly. They “generally” (not mostly at least) do deals with and handle people who are somewhat competent, and I think AI absolutely wouldn’t work on many of those people. It’s also very much about body language, choosing the right words and answers that I don’t think AI is close to being good at, yet.
But don’t quote me on that, I don’t use AI at all and never have outside of a dozen “haha funny image making thingy” so I’m very much not up to speed with how it behaves.
Heck, you could even have 2,5 and then 1,5. Just that the chance of long term survival for them would be way less.
I’d love to do psychedelics again, but can’t due to medication. Not gonna fuck with bad interactions ever again.
