A climate of uncertainty looms, according to former presiding officer of the THA , Dr Denise Tsoiafatt-Angus, as she spoke on Saturday, during the Tobago Hindu Society's observations of Divali, at the Lowlands Mall.
She was referring to relations involving Trinidad and Tobago, the US and Venezuela.

00:11We cannot help but thinking with some anxiety the uncertainty in which we live.
00:22The uncertainty where there are whispers of conflicts of global powers right here in our midst
00:32between U.S., Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago in the midst of that.
00:39Dr. Soya Fatanga said it was commendable that despite the unstable climate, Hindus in Tobago still celebrate.
00:49And so you must be commendable. Commending because you chose to honor your sacred
00:56traditions. You chose to celebrate Diwali even with the uncertainty. You chose light and you chose peace.

01:13Lowlands Mall, said the construction of Tobago's first Hindu temple was approximately 75 percent completed.
01:21As you are aware, we are in the process of constructing the first Hindu temple in Tobago.
01:27We are very thankful to all those who have donated and we are now 25 percent completed.

01:43continued support, very soon we will be able to vote at all our events.
