00:20This extraordinary model, which is set to replace the compact Forte, will be launched in 2025 in two versions, as a sedan and as a station wagon.
00:30With this vehicle, Kia once again proves that they have mastered the game of modern and futuristic designs to perfection.
00:37The K4 was recently presented at the 2024 New York Auto Show, and is causing quite a stir with its striking looks and innovative features.
00:47Even the first glance at the front of the KF shows that Kia is boldly pushing forward with its new design approach.
00:54The large T-shaped lights with the jagged orange LED daytime running light signature are an absolute eye-catcher.
01:01The upper radiator grille, typical of Kia, has a characteristic kink at the lower end, which gives the vehicle a powerful expression.
01:10The side view of the sedan is particularly exciting, with the flowing roof line sloping elegantly into a short traditionally opening trunk lid.
01:22Also striking are the door openers integrated into the C-pillar, and the small side window, which ends abruptly and vertically in front of the D-pillar.
01:31The rear design relies on oversized lights in a flat L-shape, which give the car a futuristic touch.
01:40A sporty diffuser insert rounds off the whole thing.
01:43The estate version hardly differs from the sedan up to the D-pillar, but with a steep rear and a less gently sloping roof, it has its own unique character.
01:54While the sedan is an impressive 4.1 meters long, the estate is likely to be slightly shorter, but still offers the same striking design language.
02:06The interior of the Kia K4 is just as modern as the exterior.
02:10The impressive 30-inch dual screen takes center stage, featuring both digital instruments and the infotainment system.

02:24The physical climate control buttons above and below the air vents are pleasantly intuitive and high quality.
02:32Only the large gear selector lever of the automatic transmission appears somewhat traditional, and stands out from the otherwise very tidy and future-oriented interior.
02:42For additional comfort, the front seats can be heated and cooled, and there are four color designs to choose from.

02:51Under the hood, Kia offers two engine options for the K4.
02:55The 2.0-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine produces 149.179 Nm of torque, and is combined with a continuously variable CVT transmission.
03:05Those looking for more power can opt for the 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, which delivers a powerful 193 HPI and 204 Nm of torque.
03:15This engine is coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission, which is supposed to enable a dynamic and at the same time comfortable driving style.
03:22Unfortunately, the new Kia K4 will initially be reserved exclusively for the USA, where it will replace the discontinued Forte.
03:30According to Kia, a market launch in Europe is not currently planned.
03:35That's really unfortunate, because the model would be a welcome modern alternative in a segment that is partly dominated by outdated vehicles like the Seed in Europe.
