00:00I took the miracle on the bomb drug, the effects were temporary, and I love you, it's ruining
00:17my life. I touched you for only a fortnight, but I touched you.
00:47I definitely think writing music is a form of therapy.
00:59I want to snarl and show you just how disturbed this has made me.
01:07Sorry.
01:09Every record represents something different.
01:14I look like Clarible in this light.
01:20Remarkable.
01:22Tortured Poets album is like this purge of
01:26just like everything, everything bad that I felt for two years.
01:32I still can't believe.
01:36It was a really rough time in my life, so the songs reflect that.
01:42That's the end.
01:46Yeah, because I sound like I'm going to die.
01:54Feeling like I'm not a person, I'm just this like big conglomerate that no one sees as a real human being, and like especially not men that I date.
02:04And in the whole process just being like nothing, nothing works, nothing's, there's no one for me in the world.
02:12These dressing rooms are freaking massive.
02:30Those are football players locker rooms.
02:34They're for a 53-man roster.
02:36That's actually the first time she ever heard of Travis Kelsey, but she didn't know what he was.
02:40My cousins were like taking pictures with one of the lockers.
02:44He had no idea.
02:46No idea.
02:48Do you want me to tell the story?
02:50If you want to tell the story, then you should tell the story.
02:52I kind of do.
02:53She wants to tell the story.
02:54I do, because I think it's a pretty cool story.
02:56Mom, tell the story, please.
02:58Okay, okay, if you really want me to.
03:02Speaking of Taylor Swift, I know you went to the Taylor Swift concert.
03:04How was it?
03:05Yeah, well, I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows
03:10because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings.
03:14So I was a little butthurt.
03:15I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.
03:18You made her a bracelet?
03:19Yeah, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there,
03:24but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.
03:27Not right now.
03:28Ooh, your number's in 87 or your phone number?
03:31You know which one.
03:33I'm looking at the headlines and perusing around what's on the internet,
03:40and I see that this guy came to your show, and he brought a friendship bracelet
03:46and wants to meet you.
03:48And so, of course, I call up my resident expert on Kansas City Chiefs,
03:52my cousin Robin, and I go, tell me about this guy named Travis Kelsey.
03:57And she goes, oh, my God, he's the nicest guy, and you know what?
04:04He really loves his mom.
04:06I went ding, ding, ding, ding.
04:09And I said, now how in the world am I going to get her to meet him or whatever?
04:14I've been very non-athlete because I'm not one, and I've always just been like,
04:19well, what would we talk about?
04:20And so you call me up with this tone of like, hey, so I know you're going to not react well to this,
04:27but there's a guy.
04:29He's really cute.
04:31You said something to the effect of like, you got to start doing something different.
04:36Listen, it was so earnest.
04:38I thought it was the sweetest thing in the world that he came to your show.
04:42Yeah.
04:43He brought you something from your world.
04:46Yeah.
04:47To me, that really said a lot.
04:49So, yeah, I thought that was really sweet, and I liked it.
04:52You know, on our first date, he literally had to explain football as if it were like violent chess,
04:58which helps me kind of understand it, like high speed, angry chess.
05:03And then I just sort of became obsessed with him and therefore became obsessed with learning about football.
05:10Greatest surprise of my life.
05:13Now I like know who's on the injured reserve.
05:17I know who was in limited practice today for the 49ers.
05:21I'm like, what does it mean?
05:22What's the extent of the injury?
05:24Like, are we dealing with an Achilles thing or is this hamstring?
05:27Well, right now, we're just four days away until downtown New Orleans is covered in glitter and friendship bracelets,
05:38all for the arrival of Taylor Swift.
05:40Four and more Swifties are arriving by the minute.
05:43Elected officials and law enforcement are using this upcoming weekend kind of as a test run ahead of hosting the Super Bowl.
05:49Soon, the world's biggest pop star will perform three sold-out shows.
05:53Today, the Taylor Mania begins night one of the heiress tour here in New Orleans.
05:58So, these are some products?
05:59Oh!
06:00This is serious.
06:01It's more expensive.
06:02You're gonna have to do a ride with me now.
06:03No!
06:04Thank you so much for your life.
06:05Oh!
06:06See you!
06:07If you're stuck on my arm!
06:08These are from Travis.
06:28Oh.
06:29Oh, these are so beautiful.
06:34I love that he doesn't even have to sign them anymore.
06:50Being that we have a handful of shows left,
06:52we decided the first show of New Orleans
06:54that we should put some of the swings in.
06:56What a swing is is a dancer
06:58who can do another track that's not theirs.
07:00So today wasn't full out rehearsal.
07:02We're making sure that they know
07:04where they're going on stage so they can hop in.
07:09That's good, guys.
07:10Lovely.
07:12How'd that feel?
07:13Music's fine?
07:14Everybody else feel okay staging-wise?
07:16Yeah.
07:16It's wild how these dancers are so talented.
07:20The other dancers can fill in for someone else
07:25and do their choreography perfectly,
07:27hit their blocking perfectly.
07:28I don't understand how they can do their jobs
07:33and also have the option of doing everyone else's.
07:37Crazy.
07:38Whoever is not in Ready For It or not potentially in Ready For It
07:42can go back to the dressing room.
07:44A man wanted to rehearse different contingency plans.
07:50My girl!
07:52And I jokingly said,
07:54Oh my goodness, this is going to be one of the last opportunities
07:58I might be able to have to do Ready For It.
08:01And she called me out on it.
08:03She's like, do you want to do it?
08:05All the dancers love Ready For It, especially Wiley.
08:09And the boys beg to do it.
08:10Unfortunately for me, it is all female.
08:14I just remember watching it being created
08:20and just living in perpetual envy the whole tour.
08:25That song is really Wiley style.
08:29He shines when he does that choreography.
08:34I love flipping my hair.
08:44I love being different characters on stage.
08:48I just love performing, doing really dope moves
08:52to really dope music.
08:53Beautiful.
08:54The feeling of the song and the lyrics,
08:56it's just a monumental number.
08:58So from the beginning, it was my favorite piece.
09:01And then why?
09:02This foot goes out right away.
09:04To go down, to go up.
09:05That's it.
09:06Now, I still have to ask Taylor and management if that's okay,
09:09because usually we have it be an all-female dance.
09:12He's actually going to try on my costume and see if it fits.
09:15And if it fits, I would have to ask Taylor and management
09:19if that's okay, because usually we have it be an all-female dance.
09:23He's actually going to try on my costume and see if it fits.
09:26And if it fits, I would have to ask Taylor.
09:28I would love for Wiley to do it,
09:29because he's so passionate about doing it.
09:32Thank you, everybody.
09:34Thank you, everybody.
09:39Good job, Wiley.
09:40Good job, Wiley.
09:41Thank you, thank you.
09:42You look amazing.
09:44Thank you, everybody.
09:45Thank you, everybody.
09:46Thank you, everybody.
09:54You know, with this tour, we're not very, like,
09:58we're not trying to make any points about gender,
10:01but we just don't really have any kind of restrictions.
10:07We got guys in heels and leotards and stuff,
10:10and we just don't really think too hard about it, right?
10:14Like, if you look at Look What You Made Me Do,
10:16you have women and men dressed up in my former costumes.
10:21It's not like we just don't really overthink it.
10:24And I think that's kind of one of the most fun things about,
10:27you know, the way we've approached this tour.
10:29We overthink certain things.
10:31We let some things just kind of just be naturally individualistic
10:36in terms of our casting and our dancers' expression.
10:39We're just trying to make sure we're doing it.
10:43We're doing it.
10:44We're doing it.
10:45We're doing it.
10:45We're doing it.
10:47We're doing it.
10:48We're doing it.
10:49I'm fine.
10:50Wiley is such a badass.
10:51He's been doing this for so many years.
10:54He's a vet.
10:55For him to go in tonight would be awesome.
10:58Go, go, go.
10:59We're doing it.
11:01Not for being in the audience.
11:02I'm going to be here.
11:04I'm going to be here.
11:06I'm going to be here.
11:08Yeah!
11:09Show them your tongue pin!
11:11That's my girl.
11:14Did you wear a dance belt?
11:16Yeah, I love a dance belt.
11:18She will.
11:20Wipe the dance left.
11:22It looks like the movie one.
11:24I'll resist you.
11:26Yeah.
11:28She's on. That's it, right?
11:30Wiley fit into my costume with ease.
11:34If Wiley goes in tonight,
11:36it's up to Taylor.
11:38She gets the final say.
11:42I'm going to go to the game.
11:44Monday night game.
11:46Um, oh.
11:48So Wiley's dream
11:50is to do ready for it.
11:52Amanda's going to take...
11:54What do you mean?
11:56He wants to dance ready for it.
11:58in this video.
11:59Does he have a wardrobe?
12:00Yeah, he wants to be the swing tonight.
12:02Yes!
12:04There she is.
12:06Find the Rockets a little upy.
12:08Don't be a vibe.
12:10Yes.
12:12Yes.
12:14Yeah.
12:16Does he just fit in Amanda's wardrobe?
12:18Yeah, I think so.
12:20Are you ready for it?
12:22Yes.
12:24100%.
12:25That's amazing.
12:42No.
12:43Stop.
12:44Stop.
12:45Stop.
12:46Stop.
12:47Stop.
12:48Stop.
12:49Stop.
12:50Stop.
12:51Stop.
12:52Stop.
12:53Stop.
12:54Stop.
12:55No.
12:56Muscle memory is the first step
12:57in, like, brain atrophy for me.
13:06That's why I love my acoustic set so much.
13:08I love being challenged to come up with different things to do every night.
13:11I wash my hands of us at the club.
13:28You made a mess of me.
13:31Preparing for the acoustic set is something that I do because I...
13:38I don't want to just wing it, you know?
13:40Like, I want there to be a sense of quality.
13:43I would never just get up there and be like,
13:46guess I'll try something that has to be purposeful and it has to be well executed.
13:51Like, it is always a moment I'm somewhat unprepared for because
13:55I'm rehearsing this a few times in my dressing room and then it's time to bring it to the stadium stage.
14:00So there's always a level of sort of, like, nervous anticipation of sort of, like,
14:04make sure you remember all these words, make sure you remember that this song transitions into this song.
14:09But there's also an element of detail that goes into it.
14:12It was easy for me to do.
14:15It's different.
14:17It's different cause it's you.
14:19Walking through the crowd, the village is a-glow.
14:21Lightest open loud, heartbeats under coats.
14:25Everybody here wants you something more.
14:28Looking for a sound we hadn't heard before.
14:45There were points in this tour when the tour was the only thing that was really keeping me going in my life.
14:51But there were never points in the tour where I thought,
14:54Oh, you know what, I want to quit the tour cause the tour is hard.
14:57No, my personal life was hard.
14:58I went through two breakups on the first half of this tour.
15:02And that's a lot of breakups, actually.
15:08The show was what gave me purpose and was what I could use to get me out of bed.
15:15So the tour has never been the hard thing in my life.
15:21The tour has been the thing that has allowed me to find purpose outside of the shit that was going wrong in my life.
15:29Men will let you down.
15:31The heiress tour never will.
15:33You know, it really kind of tells your story.
15:57It's so, so cool.
15:59It's so different and when you first met.
16:03Who are we talking about now?
16:05Travis, your boyfriend.
16:07That's what I was thinking about during all night.
16:09I'm talking, this is about, these are literally two breakup songs.
16:12It's different as a breakup song.
16:13I know, but it's about, it's about...
16:15I just hear the pretty parts of it.
16:17I mean, I'm glad that that's, that you read that into it.
16:19Cause I read into it like that this person is going through a horrible breakup and they're like,
16:23I can't move on.
16:24And then they do.
16:25And they go to a big city and they like find this other sense of self.
16:29I guess so.
16:33Anyway, so is this, is that what you want?
16:35She can't believe that she doesn't have to convince me to be in love with someone who's good for me.
16:40This one's easy.
16:44All right.
16:45Do you need me?
16:46They need me in there.
16:47Okay.
16:48That's, that's all I have for you.
16:49Okay.
16:50Thank you very much.
16:51My little lucky charm.
16:52Bye.
16:54What has Travis brought to the tour?
16:56Well, first of all, he brought himself onto the stage on this tour,
17:00which was one of the funnier moments I can ever remember.
17:04How do I put this?
17:06Travis is like, he's a real, he's a real yes guy.
17:10Like in terms of life itself.
17:12Do you want to be centered in the middle, in the front of it or behind it?
17:15I'm taking your, I'm, you're taking it.
17:17Boom.
17:18Whichever you want me to do.
17:19He's just up for anything.
17:20And when I wrote the skit for, I can do it with a broken heart where I had this very dramatic idea where I want to be a soldier on a battlefield and I'm fatally wounded and I die on the stage while singing.
17:37And then we have this very sort of like cabaret dramatic vaudeville kind of skit where I have to perk up immediately to perform.
17:46I was like, oh, that's, that's exactly the kind of drama I'm trying to put forth here on this tour.
17:51But I remember thinking about the skit and always just being like, if there was ever a point to put Travis in the show, I think this would be the one.
18:02But I obviously am like never going to suggest that because that's like, I don't want to, you don't want to scare people, you know?
18:09Yeah, like she has to be head on the left side.
18:13Yeah.
18:14I can't remember how it came up.
18:15I think we were just joking around about like him doing it, like him going up there with Cam.
18:19And it became very clear that he like wasn't joking.
18:23And I was like, oh, wait, no, you would do that?
18:26Yes.
18:27It's easier then.
18:28Yeah.
18:29And then we can run.
18:30And he was like, yeah, it would be hilarious.
18:32Come on, wake up.
18:33Wake up.
18:34I was like, if you're serious about this, I will send your measurements to wardrobe and they'll get you a tux.
18:41Like, are you serious?
18:42And he's like, put me in.
18:45Like, I'm in.
18:49The way that he just comes to life when the lights are the brightest, people talk about that all the time with him.
18:58They're like, the moment's never too big for Travis.
19:00The lights are never too bright for Travis.
19:02Like, I think that's as a player, he can like slow down time in the most stressful moments.
19:08And that's exactly what we saw on stage.
19:10He got out there and was the most charming, delightful performer you could ever be on the stage with.
19:19Like his instincts, he's just, he's just so magically entertaining.
19:25He really is one of the happiest people I think I've ever met, which I adore.
19:39He just brought a lot of happiness, which is, I think, what he does in a lot of his circles.
19:48He brings, he brings a lot of happiness to the room.
19:50And that particular night, he brought a lot of happiness to a lot of fans.
19:55It was hilarious.
19:56I can safely say that that was, that was the loudest it ever got on the Heirs tour.
20:03The one thing about dads that made me fall in love with it.
20:30Growing up in Hawaii, I wasn't the typical masculine local boy.
20:39I felt like I didn't fit in anywhere.
20:44I found dance or dance found me when I was seven and a half.
20:51They planted a seed of passion in me that I didn't know would blossom into something that would serve me till now in my life.
21:03It gave me a huge sense of confidence and a huge sense of power and belonging and purpose.
21:16In 2007, when I got into the industry, you had to like fit into a certain stereotype.
21:23Male dancers, they look like this. They dance like this. Female dancers look like this. They dance like this.
21:28I do love dancing masculine. It's something I love to do, but I also love dancing feminine.
21:34And I also love mixing the two together.
21:36I was always told, Wiley, you're great, but you flip your hair too much or you're too feminine.
21:42That stuck with me through different jobs, being told different things about my appearance.
21:49This job, no one told me I needed to be buff.
21:56Taylor never made me cut my hair.
21:59I wear different color eyeshadows in different nights.
22:03It's been almost 150 shows and Taylor not has once said, Wiley, please stop doing that.
22:08Never. I've never been filtered as a person of who I present myself on stage with her.
22:14And neither has any of my coworkers. And that may seem so small, but as a dancer who has been told to change, to filter himself for almost 20 years, it is one of the most meaningful things to me.
22:33It is so empowering. It is so loving. It is so enriching and so much fun.
22:43You know, Wiley, as a dancer and a performer, he can really channel that kind of like sexy femme side of himself.
23:10Wiley wanting to be in, uh, ready for it was just like so refreshing. So I was like, of course.
23:16I'm fully ready for it.
23:19Crack.
23:22So I'm gonna do one of the fake outs where I like sing, I'm gonna sing a chorus of her song and the crowd's gonna be like, what? What's going on? What's going on?
23:35And then I'm gonna stop and I'm gonna do this phone call bit, which I'll explain to you in real time.
23:41And then I'm gonna be like, God, that song is stuck in my head. That song has been stuck in my head for like six months.
23:58Um, you guys know Sabrina Carpenter, you know, you know her album. It's so good.
24:04My friend Sabrina is coming tonight. She was the opening act on the Ayers tour for South America and Australia. So she was just on tour with us like six months ago.
24:13But since then her career has skyrocketed. She's had the biggest song of the year. The album has been number one consistently since it came out. She put out an arena tour on sale. It sold out in like two seconds.
24:27It's the dream scenario for how you would want your career to go as an artist.
24:30I'm gonna go out on stage, start my acoustic set and be like, you know, the words to this one, like sing along. I just I have to I feel like I can't ever get it out of my head until I sing it. Okay. So I'm just trying to trying to just support me on this. Okay.
24:45Now he's thinking about me every night. Oh, isn't that sweet? I guess so.
24:52The other day, Erica was like, oh, Sabrina and some friends want to come to the show in New Orleans. And I look up her tour schedule. She's got like a show yesterday and a show tomorrow in different states. And I was like, is this like child abuse for me to even ask her to perform on her one day off? I know she's like 25, but still.
25:07And they're gonna like be like losing their minds the whole time.
25:10They're gonna be like, why did she do that?
25:12Something's happening and they're gonna be like, and they're gonna be punching each other and be like, no, there's no way. Sabrina's not here.
25:17Like, it's just gonna be the craziest moment of the tour.
25:19It's gonna be cute.
25:20Or I could start. And you can kind of start singing whenever you want because this is the same chord progression.
25:25And I'm gonna start with the chorus.
25:27Yeah.
25:28Because I love you.
25:29Okay.
25:30Now he's thinking about me every night. Oh, is it that sweet? I guess so.
25:36Say you can't sleep, baby, I know. That's that me espresso.
25:41Move it up, down, left, right, oh. Switch it up like Nintendo.
25:46Say you can't sleep, baby, I know. That's that me espresso.
25:51I can't breathe.
25:53Or do we go, oh yeah, do the chord progression. I want you on stage for a million years.
25:56Okay, so I'll wait, I'll wait.
25:57And then that, isn't that, isn't that sweet, I guess so.
25:59I guess so.
26:00Okay.
26:03Sweet, I guess so.
26:05I'm gonna be like, can I please do the line?
26:08I'll be like, you do the line.
26:09I wanna do the line so bad.
26:10Okay, everybody.
26:11Kayla's gonna do the line.
26:12I'm gonna do the line.
26:16I'm working late, cause I'm a singer.
26:20Oh, you look so cute.
26:23I did the line.
26:24I've drawn my finger.
26:25My twisted humor.
26:27Makes him laugh so often.
26:30My honey, baby, come get this pollen.
26:35Let's fast forward to 200 or take out copies later.
26:40I see your profile and you smile on unsuspecting waiters.
26:45You've been in my mouth before, called you a lying traitor
26:51You search in every meeting's bed for something greater
26:55Baby, was it over when she laid down on your couch?
27:01Was it over when he unbutted the clouds?
27:06Come here, I was putting your ear on your dream as you passed out
27:10Baby, was it over then?
27:13Is it over now?
27:29And I'll be like, you know what I kind of want to do next?
27:32I kind of want to be like, since you're here
27:35Please, please, please, don't prove I'm not
27:42Should I do a high one?
27:44Do you want to, um, I can't tell if I want to do
27:46Please, please, please, don't prove I'm right
27:50By the way, no one's going to hear anything
27:53I know, because you're like
27:54Please, please, please
27:55People are just going to be like, freaking out
27:58I felt like a real big idiot
27:59Because the first time you sent me the first version
28:01Which was so genius
28:03It didn't process that the takeout coffee line
28:05Takeout coffee and espresso
28:06Really fits with espresso
28:07Until I literally was in the car on the way here
28:09And I was like, she's so smart
28:12But yeah, that was the big blonde moment for me
28:14It took me a day
28:16But what are the chances it has the same rhythm and the same key?
28:20And so I'm going to get past a phone
28:21Stop
28:21And have it on speakerphone and put it up to the mic
28:25And it'll, like, ring
28:26And you'll be under the stage with a phone
28:29Stop
28:29And be like, hello
28:31I'll say hey in some way
28:33In some way that I do
28:34And I'll be like, dude, I'm performing right now
28:39Like, aren't you playing a show right now?
28:40Yeah
28:41Like, aren't you in the middle of a show?
28:43I'm, like, watching your live stream, this is so weird
28:45Just be like, aren't you playing a show right now or something in New Orleans?
28:49I'll be like, yeah, about that
28:50I actually just, um, did, like, a chorus of espresso
28:53And the crowd sang it so loud
28:54That I just had to tell you about it
28:56Oh, that's so cool
28:58Oh, my gosh
28:59What are you doing?
29:04Why aren't you here with us?
29:05What are you doing right now?
29:07I'm, obviously, I'm on, like, a rollercoaster
29:10I'm somewhere where everyone is screaming so loud
29:13Oh
29:15I wish I could be there
29:20I know, it's weird
29:21I'm somewhere where people are screaming really loud, too
29:24I just
29:27Here's the thing
29:29Sabrina
29:29Is there any chance you could get off
29:31The rollercoaster you're on
29:33And, like, put on some clothes
29:35And just, like, come down to the stadium real quick?
29:37Oh, yeah
29:39Like, ballpark, how long would that take you?
29:46It would probably take me, like, five seconds
29:49Okay, see you soon
29:53Love you, bye
29:53Sabrina
30:07Is just like a shooting star
30:11She's so smart
30:13She knows exactly how to entertain people in the way that they want in the moment that she's in
30:20She's just, like, battling herself for number one on the charts all summer
30:24And when you see that happen
30:26You're just, like, go!
30:30Fly higher!
30:31And then it's even cooler when, like, someone like this will circle back
30:35And, like, bless us with their magic
30:39Please, please, please, please
30:42Don't prove I'm right
30:45Please, please, please
30:51Don't bring me the tears when I just did my makeup so nice
30:57Heartbreak is one thing
31:00My ego's another
31:02Well, I'll tell you
31:03Don't embarrass me
31:05Motherfucker
31:06Oh, please, please, please
31:14Say
31:15Now he's thinking about me
31:18Every night I know
31:19Is it that sweet?
31:20I guess so
31:21So you can't sleep, baby, I know
31:24That's that me espresso
31:26And is it open now?
31:31Oh, that's that me espresso
31:35Let's fast forward to 300 take-out coffees later
31:40Mm-hmm
31:43That's that me espresso
31:45My girl!
32:09It's fucking time!
32:12It's time!
32:15I have to say that this job is pretty scary
32:33I mean that because of how big it is
32:39So many eyes on you
32:44Venues we go to have almost 100,000 people there every night
32:49I can't believe this is happening
32:54I'm gagging
32:55If I think too much about what this tour is
32:59And how big of an impact it has
33:01I am riddled with anxiety and fear
33:05So loud
33:06All I want to do is represent Taylor well
33:23We are extensions of her right now in this job
33:26I just want to continue the message of what she's trying to say
33:34And I want to give that integrity to it
33:43Wh pressуй
33:55Who do you feel?
33:56Who do you feel?
33:58You think it is really?
33:58You think?
33:59You think it is really?
34:00I don't know
34:00What are you?
34:01But?
34:01I got my head
34:11Luki was a killer, first time that I saw him
34:35Wondered how many gold he had loved and left haunted
34:38But if he's a lost man, I can be a blind top
34:41Hold on and balance up, some, some
34:44Boys are trying too hard, you don't try at all
34:46Look, don't look at my ex's for the act like such a mantel
34:50I see nothing but death, I keep it forever
34:52Like a vendetta, I, I, I see
34:57How this is gonna grow, touch me
35:00And you'll never be alone, I'm silent
35:02Breathe, say nice, down low, no one has to love
35:06In the middle of the night, in my dreams
35:10You should see the things we do, baby
35:16In the middle of the night, in my dreams
35:23I know I'm gonna be with you
35:27So I take that time
35:31Are you ready for a hand?
35:37When I was a robber, I can't let it on
35:41Feeling hurt and running up and never saying sorry
35:44She got to find a team then, she can join the heist then
35:47Over to an island, and, and
35:49She can be my jailer, get you to this jailer
35:53When I was given the opportunity by Taylor herself
35:58I was so honored, I was so honored that she would be down
36:04That she even trusted me to step in so last minute like that
36:09But I'm even more honored that I get to share the stage with someone
36:13Who sees me
36:17And not only sees me, she celebrates me
36:20She looks at me on the left
36:25Are you ready for it?
36:26And she had like the biggest smile on her face
36:28And the shiniest sparkle in her eye
36:31It's not really that often where a male dancer can do like a female swinging part
36:39And even be allowed to like flourish as much as he wants in in that part
36:45I want to be that example
36:48For anyone, any person, male, female, non-binary
36:52I want them to feel seen just like how I felt seen by Taylor
37:09I can't believe that the cities would be completely transformed into
37:27Really revolving around and catering to the fans that were coming in for the shows
37:31It blows my mind
37:34There's definitely this safety net or bubble
37:37That we're sort of encapsulated in
37:40And inside of it is just this joyous phenomenon that we get to share
37:46People are having this special experience where they're singing and dancing
37:52Listening to songs that some people grew up with
37:55Some people are just starting to love
37:57And it really lets them have this moment in time that they'll never forget
38:12This tour just cultivates, I think, just good energy
38:20It doesn't matter who you are, what age you are
38:23I feel like there's just a different type of tour
38:27Her kindness and joy she has brought to the workspace is unheard of
38:32And it rubs off on all of us
38:43Gracie texts me, she's like, I knew you were tall but like check this out
38:47I'm like on the side of the hotel like a million feet tall
38:51I used to have this joke and that's part of why I wrote Antihero
38:54It's like I'm like a five foot ten woman followed around by a 500 foot tall
38:59Like monster shadow and this like monster just like
39:04Knocks over buildings and and like
39:09Wreaks all this havoc and the me being that size tall on a hotel
39:14I'm like yeah that's that's kind of how it feels sometimes
39:21We are playing indie three nights and that'll be the last time we do the heiress tour show in america
39:29And it is like five days before the presidential election
39:36The one thing I can provide from people is an escape like nothing could ever or should ever bother any of us
39:43And nothing will for three and a half hours
39:45I'm glad that I will have given just a hundred percent
39:53Girlhood and hope and belief and sweat and effort because that's the job
40:00So am I good to say to Trav that I can offer him if he wants to sit with my family?
40:19Yeah, I think that's a great idea
40:22As many as they want okay, I'll tell them the whole group or whoever he's going to want
40:25What are the um songs for today?
40:33Well, I was thinking I could do the prophecy into this love
40:40And I could do maroon into cowboy like me
40:44That sounds amazing
