Big Sloppy Wet Kiss

 I had a friend over for her birthday this last weekend.  She isn't super social so no party or group of people...just me.  I did take her out for a birthday shot at a local bar, but we didn't stay long.  LOL  Because she knows I'm sort of a dork (and because I'm 5 yrs older than her) I decided to make her a funny old lady card.

For this card I used an image from Polka Doodle called Revolting Kiss.  I digitally colored her using Paint 3D.  I also created my own sentiment.  The only "extra" I did with this one is to add some Glossy Accents onto her glasses, to give them the thickness they needed. I kept it very CAS since I also know my friend isn't someone who saves her cards.

Caught With Your Skirt Up

 I've been wanting to make something with this images for a while now.  I finally did it!  I'm not sure if you know this or not, but Polka Doddle has some fun crazy images, not just the cute adorable ones they're known for!!  This one is called Embarassing Moment, it is part of the Funny Old Bag group of sentiments and images (the seniments come with the images).  The shopping cart is from a bundle I'd purchased a while back from Polka Doodles called Top Banana Celebrations (I think...?).  I added some flowers, gems and twine.  I digitally colored the funny old bag using Paint 3D.

Nailed it!

 I've been wanting to make something using this image for a while now.  I had a difficult time coming up with a good sentiment with it.  Please, share some ideas with me!!  LOL  I kept thinking I wanted to do something like 'you crack me up' (focusing on the butt crack)...But wanting it to be a birthday card, I couldn't think where to go with it.  So, I went with Nailed It!

 This card was made for the Incy Wincy Designs "Use a Card Fold Tutorial and/or animal" challenge.  Our sponsor is Beccy's Place, she has a lot of different tutorials on her page, however, I used one from DawnsStampingThoughts.  Dawn only gives a certain amount of images away and the team members aren't allowed to share, or you can pick one of her freebies from her site.  I eneded up using a chicken from her set called Poultry In Motion and another image from a DT I'm on Patty's Creations, called Silly Chickens on Coop.  I added a coop and a fence and some DP.  I hand wrote on the coop and under the silly chickens.  I did use a glitter pen on the coffee cup on the front of the card.

Birthday Cow

 I was feeling inspired to make a cow card today.  I found this adorable image over at My Besties at 60% off.  They're having a pretty awesome sale going on for the rest of this month!!  The stamps (digi and rubber) are on sale for 60% off using the code JULYAUG60.  For this card I used two butterfly punches, and cut the other fun shapes using my Cricut, the Happy Birthday and the fence dies are ones I uploaded, the squigly one is a freebie.  I added pearls and gems, flowers, ribbon, pins and a stick pin that I made.  The DP is from A Bit More Time To Stamp.  I love adding Glossy Accents to the big eyes, so, I did!

Birthday Sheep

 This 'tall skinny' (aka: Slimline) card was made with an image from Stamp'in UP! that I stamped and scanned into my computer so that I could color it and make it larger or smaller as I wished.  This is a free with purchase image called Counting Sheep, it is from the Celebration catalog.  The sentiment is from another Stamp'in UP! set called From All Of Us.

I added some fun DP for the birthday theme (confetti) and added some red ribbon.  I added some sparkle to the hats and to the 'wool'.

The card base was cut using my Cricut.  It is one of the images that came with a cartridge I got called Stretch Your Imagination.  Just a side note...DO NOT BUY USED CARTRIDGES, the cartridges can only be registered to one person in a life time.  Can you tell that I learned this the hard way?  I also used the Cricut to cut the sheep and the hats on the sheep.

Your Adventure Begins Now

 One of my new co-worker's asked me to make a card for her daughter who is heading off to Idaho State University.  I said, challenge excepted!  LOL  I used an image from The Paper Shelter, cut a couple ISU logos, used some punches, ribbon, gems and made a trifold gift card holder.  It will hold a gift card or cash!  :)  The school colors, as you can see are Orange and Black.  I did my own sentiment.

Mermaid Tail

 This was made for this month's "Beach/Under The Sea" challenge at Pattie's Creations Design Challenge.

For this card I used two images Mermaid Crossing and Sea Shell Border 1.  The card base is in the Cricut Library (including the lower right hand shell) Sand Dollar Card #M415E6.  I also cut the waves and sand and fussy cut the images using the Cricut.  I added pearls around the frame.

It's about the Mileage

 As I mentioned in my last post...  I'M BAAAACK!  I have a craft room again!  It has been months and boy have I been homesick for my craft stuff!!  I purchased a home and am almost done moving in...now that I've started card making again, well...I may be 'almost done moving' for a long time!  HAHA

Because I just got all moved in and am financially broke, I have not been able to sign up for the Cricut program.  So, my work around is a lot of uploading of images I can use as dies and print and cuts.

This card was made for one of my fun co-workers.  She loves her Harley Davidsons and her dogs...now, the real humor in this one is that she has HUGE dogs...no chihuahua for that lady!

This is an image from Art Impressions.  I created the sentiment.  The larger silver frame and the black circle were both cut using my Cricut.  I also fussy cut the image out.  I added some cogs, gems, a rose and some gems.  I used some twine as her purse strap since the original was too thin to cut out, it just cut it!

Something tells me she is going to laugh out loud when she opens this one.

Not About The Age

 So, I am back!!  I have a craft room again!!  Woooohoooo!!  I was able to make a couple of birthday cards for my Co-Workers, one had her birthday yesterday and will most likely not get her card until tomorrow.  The other coworker's birthday is next week, she should get her's on time!  :)  Yay!

This card was made for a new co-worker who just changed locations from the Magic Valley to the Treasure Valley, don't you love that?  haha  Idaho is interesting when it comes to the valleys!  :)  I had to ask one of her former co-workers what sorts of things she likes and doesn't like.  I was told she loved to karaoke and she can dance like Selina. I was also told that her favorite color was hot pink and coral.  I went with the pinks.  

Because I just got all moved in and am not sure if I can afford the extra fees, I have not renewed my Cricut membership.  So, I am simply uploading different images and turning them into dies and/or print and cuts.  The Happy Birthday is from a stamp, as is the frame around the musical page.  I uploaded the actual image (from Yampuffs) to my Cricut so that she could be fussy cut.  You can get this image free HERE.  There are several super cute freebies on this site!  :)  I added some flowers and gems and a bow.
