New Home

 My sister, her husband and their daughter moved from Texas to Rhode Island this month.  They sold their house there and purchased a new place in RI.  I decided to make a card to match their new home.

I used two die sets and my Cricut to make this card to match:

The light and numbers were cut from my Cricut, the plant was a fun set from Honey Bee Stamps called Succulent Garden Builder.  The door, the flowers and leaves on the door and the door mat were done using the retired Spellbinders Open House Door Base Set.  I used my Bow-it-All to make the small yellow bow. Fun huh?  😀

Ski Season

 Well, thank goodness the snow down here is gone, but the mountains are beautiful to see!  Ski season is in full swing!  One of my co-workers asked to have...well, this is what she said "My favorite color is any blue colors. I do think that cotton candy sky colors are really pretty too when we get those 😊  I am an outdoor girl, so I really enjoy nature. Maybe a mountain with a sun picking behind it with lots of trees. Right now, I have been enjoying cross country skiing in Ponderosa park if you wanted to add anything with skiis."

So, I inked a cotton candy sky added a mountain die cut and added some white ink and cut a cross country skier using my Cricut.  The sentiment is from a retired CTMH set called Slimline Sentiments (this was a National Stamping Month Special from two years ago).

First I made this card and realized how much of what she actually wanted was missing, so, it's not the one I'm giving to her.  This is a scene from Cricut that I turned into a print and cut (I couldn't figure out how to put it together when I tried to piece it. I added the skier separately.  I added the birds from another stamp set and the clouds from yet another stamp set, I then embossed the clouds with white embossing powder.  I still like the card, but it will not be given to her...

Sparkle

 This card was made using a fun retired Unicorn set from CTMH called Unicorn Dreams.  I also used a stitched star die.  The strips across the middle (top to bottom across) was also done with a die (one of my new favorites from Spellbinders) The die is called Sealed Twine.  The looped ribbon behind the star and unicorn was made using some stretchy Holiday Ribbon.  I added some shimmer the the main, tail, horn and hooves of the unicorn using CTMH shimmer brushes.  After fussy cutting the sentiment and the layers, I used some CTMH Clear Sparkles around it.

Hippy Birthday To You

 So many of my posts start this way...

This card was made for one of my co-workers.  When I asked what she wanted on her birthday card this year she said "My husband and I are also kind of hippies haha😊 which might be a cute theme. Tie dye, peace and love, and nature would be wonderful!"  I jumped on the hippy theme!  I sort of forgot about the nature part...oops!  LOL

I tried my hand at tie-dyeing my paper.  I soaked the piece of paper, used my watercolor brush and ink and came up with what you see on both sheets of paper (not the green paper).   I used two different embossing folders, I don't get a lot of opportunities to play with peace sign folder from The Paper Studio.  The flower embossing folder is from Darice (no clue where I got this one).  I used sharpies to color the van (except for the tires, they were water colored).  I used embossing pens and white embossing powder for the VW emblem.  The sentiment is from Cricut - I went in and found it, turned it into a print and cut, but did not use my Cricut to cut it.  I used my new Bow-it-All 3 to make the fun bow.  The VW stamp is from CTMH set called Let The Good Times Roll.  The little flowers I have on the card, they are from Stamp'in Up.

Overall, I think she will like this...at least, I hope she does.

Kitty Cat's Tear It Up

 My CTMH consultant had a challenge this weekend to use the "tearing technique".  Now, granted, I did not use CMTH stamps (other than the sentiments), but she isn't too picky!  LOL  I used the tear and roll technique, still tearing the paper!  I came across some super old scrap book paper I had in my stash and decided to use it in the peek-a-boo spaces.  I made 3 cards from the one 8.5 x 11 sheet.

For Christmas I received an Amazon Gift Card.  I finally used it and purchased myself a Zutter Bow-it-All.  So, I've been playing with making bows too.  Each card has a bow on it made using my new toy.

This one was made using two of the smaller pictures, so I double tore and rolled it.  LOL  I used the CTMH paper, it is the same sheet.  Their paper has a white center and the front and the back are corresponding blue colors.  The sentiments are from one of the retired cat stamp sets.

This one is very CAS, no rolling, just tearing. The blue paw prints and the sentiment came from another retired cat stamp set.

Finally, I switched to another sheet of solid cardstock from CTMH.  I used a long strip of white pearls and a bow.

Double Pocket Cards

 I've been doing a lot of card making this weekend.  I've opened the blinds in my craft room and enjoyed the bright light without the freezing temps reaching me!  LOL

These two cards were made by following this simple video - oh my, how easy this is!!!

My first was made using the freebie over at Free Printables for your Junk Journaling with TLC it is the newest "challenge".  If you aren't already a follower, why not?  Paulette always has such awesome goodies that she shares!  I miss being on her Design team (wow, that was a long time ago...back when it was Create With TLC - or TLC Creations).  

This second card was made using some paper from CTMH and two retired stamp sets from CTMH.  The snowflake dies are from Sizzix and the white edges are made using an old punch from SU.

 With the huge amount of snow we got this weekend, I spent a lot of time in my craft room playing (when I should have been cleaning).  Here are 3 of the cards I made.  These were made using the CTMH digital collections, using my Cricut.

I love these digital art collections.  You can choose to do them as a print and cut (basically, a digital stamp) or you can cut and create like I did with these 3.  When you open a project in your Cricut, you can choose to remove parts, for instance, if I didn't want to cut the horn from the unicorn card, I could've just removed it from the project without cutting it.  On the second card, the film strip was part of the scrapbook page layout, I removed everything EXCEPT the film strip.

Let's Party Card Making Kit

 I have been doing a lot of crafting today.  These are two of the cards I've made today.  For these two cards I used The "Let's Party Card Making Kit" from CTMH along with the "Let's Party Digital Art Collection". set.  I just got these in the mail yesterday!  Yay!

For this first card I used the sketch from the current Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge.  The solid balloons were cut using the Digital Art Collection and my Cricut.  The patterned balloons and the "It's Your" are from the stamp set and the Birthday are from the die set.

This second card was made using the idea of one of the cards from the kit, only, I turned it sideways so that I could add a gift card holder inside the card.  The patterned paper is the front/back of one of the sheets from the 'workshop' set.  The Happy and the Birthday are from the die set and the balloon and "to you" are from the stamp set from the kit.

Tater Beer Birthday

 This fun card was made using images from Maymay Made It.  The potato, glasses and bow tie came from a  set called Taters.  The wagon and the pattern on the wagon came from a set called Wheelie Full Wagon.  Two of the sentiments are my own.  The Happy and the Birthday are from Spellbinders, the set is called Sending Sentiments.  You can find the die set here and the sentiment stamps set here.  The background was done using a zig zag chevron etched die, also from Spellbinders.  The bling on the white surface, those are from Stamp'in Up.

I saw a sentiment the other day that made me giggle - it was completely innocent with all of the other stamps...but my twisted mind went dirty.  "Sending Happy Vibes"  

Well, My mind went to vibrators.  Of course!  Where else?  LOL  Since I don't have any stamps with those on them, I created my own...  Yes, I am going to share.  I'm the first to admit, I'm not an artist when it comes to drawing, but...??  Oh well!  LOL  I also created paper for it.  So, here is your new vibrator stamp and paper.

After I finished this, I started to think about all of the single ladies out there without a date for Valentine's Day (or with) who won't be getting lucky this year...  So, I created more.  HAHA

I don't believe...

 How about an Abominable Snowman for someone having a bad day due to something someone else did?  The cuts, images and "I don't believe In Humans" sentiment are all Cricut, the other sentiment is mine.  I used a snowflake embossing folder to add some texture and drew some snowflakes in the corners.  I, of course had to add the big pile of poo (Cricut), just to show how bad of a day he is really having.  LOL
