Love Princess Barbie Folder

 A friend wanted me to make her two of these for her grandaughters, I made one a while back and can't seem to find any pictures of it.  This is the second of the two.  I used a princess sticker pack on the first one I made (in fact, that is where the large word Princess came from.  For this one I used a butterfly sticker pack and a barbie sequin set.  I used several different brands of designer papers on this.  I made an envelope and several pockets for it.  I used a heart punch for the envelope and above it.

Lots of busy papers, but really, I think they all go pretty well together.  I didn't mean for it to look so...valentine, but, that is certainly how it turned out.

Mermaid Fun

 It's been a LONG time since I've made an actual MERMAID card!!  Tonight, since I didn't have any DT responsibilities to do I decided to make one, a shaker one!  :)  Both images are long retired :(  the frame and the sentiment were cut out using stitched dies.  I used some grey cheese cloth I found during the halloween shopping season, some real sea shells, pearls and gems (white and orange ones).  My final touch was the orange bow.  This was super fun to do!!

Valentine 4 Pannel Cash/Gift Card holder

 I made this to be a cash/gift card holder, so you can put cash in one of the pockets and a gift card in the other, or two GCs or 2 bills.  The images are all from MyBesties.  To make this card I took a 12x12 piece of cardstock, cut it in half, scored it on the long side at 3, 6, and 9 inches, then cut from the top corner down to 3 inches on the opposite side.  This is an easy way to make a 4 pannel card.  I could have made it taller so it would fit into a business sized envelope (in other words "tall/skinny").  I hand cut "fussy cut" the images for this one rather than using my Cricut.  The sentiments are from CTMH.

 This sweet Penguin is from the Jan's Digi Stamp set called Puttin' On The Ritz and is currently on sale for just $3.75 along with all of the other Valentine sets that are on sale.  I used e round dies, one stitched, one regular and one scalloped.  I also used A sentiment die.  I added loads of flowers and gems.

Never Too Old - Goofy Stuff

 This card was made using a fun image from Stamp On It (QKR Stampede) called Birthday Bear Digital Stamp.  I turned this into a shaker card using bears, bees and presents inside.  I used a shimmer pen over the cake, added a bow to the bear, used some glossy accents on the bear's nose, used a lot of gems and called it good.  LOL  The sentiment is one from Create With TLC.

Shake It To Wake It

 I decided to get a bit creative and combine a few challenges, sketch and shaker.

Here is the sketch from Try Stampin'-Or Not-On Tuesday (I did not do the optional monochomatic theme) 

Simon Monday Challenge is Shake It up.  So, between the two, I had to make this a shaker card.  LOL

I used an image from Pattie's Creations (the cat - Nap Time) and an image from Lisa Twistoon called Peeping Dacshund.

I used some fun shaker fillers and some glitter papers.  The birthday sentiment is cut from a die and the grey paper in the background was embossed using a super cool paw print embossing folder.  My final touch was the gems across the top.

I Survived!

 This tag was made for this month's challenge at Pattie's Creations Design Challenge using Snowman 1.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I used some fun designer paper from Stamp'in Up, an edge punch by EK Success, some lace/ribbon and lots of pearls.  I did add a bunch of dots of Pearl Nuvo Crystal Drps.

Considering I'm not a fan of winter weather and was able to get away on a fun family cruise with my sister and her family, I did infact, survive the holidays!  LOL

Elephant Valentine Card

 I was invited to be a guest designer at Creative Creases this month.  The theme is, as always, "anyting funfold goes".  For my funfold I created a Double Pop-Up Moving Card.  I used pre-colored images from Scrapbooks Gone Digital.  Since the inside is the "prize", I kept the front of the card very CAS.

I just love how when you open the card you get that fun surprise of the insides popping up/down!  Yay!

Let Me Call You Sweetheart

 This is a new release over at Jan's Digi Stamps called Sweethearts.  I built the rose wreath by using the rose from Only Have Eyes for you and the bow off the gift in the Ornaments set.  I used some fun Valentine DP that I am pretty sure I have had for many years, the bottom sentiment is from one of the paper packs.  I turned this into a shaker card using some fun pink heart shaped sequins and gold sequins.  I added a bit too much shimmer (according to the picture, it doesn't look as bad in real life).  I used gold gems, gold pearl rope, lace and ribbon.  I just love this old vintage set, I think I recall getting on a Valentine Card whe I was a kid!  :)
