Thankful Thoughts

Today is the 15th and this is my card for our The Creative Crew!  We are a group of 7 and all one team--Jeanette, Carol, Darlene, Lorraine, Terry, Tracie and me. Each month will be a new challenge posed by one of the members sending out a kit.  This month Lorraine is the hostess and sent us a sweet kit with the theme Thankful Thoughts.

Lorraine stamped this cute CTMH image called Autumntime.  She also included two sentiments from Stampin' Up and I placed one on the inside. I colored the image with my Copic Sketch Markers and backed it with some of the brown Bazzill that Lorraine included.  I wanted to showcase both of the patterned papers she sent, so I made a flap card. I added some of the embellishments around the card and a bow at the top. This was fun card to make!

Here is the inside with the sentiment.

I hope all of The Creative Crew Gals enjoy my card this month.  Please be sure to stop in to see what fun crafty cards are posted this month.  All of the blogs can be found on my left sidebar.  Our teammate Lorraine does not have a blog, so please check out her card in her SCS gallery.   I am sure you will enjoy all of the wonderful creations this month!

We will be back in December with the image Darlene will be sending out.  Be sure to check in with us on the 15th to see what fun she has planned!

Going to the Chapel

Today is not the 15th, but is a week later on the 22nd. We had a bit of a delay with some members getting their kits, so here we are.  Today is another posting day for our group, the Crafty Card Ladies!   The team names are the Pearls and the Diamonds--very Classy names for us!   For our May Challenge, Carol and Shelly are the hostesses. Shelly is a Pearl and Carol is a Diamond, just like me!  And we are all team Classy Card Ladies!

The theme for May is Going to the Chapel. Carol sent everyone a kit with this sweet Colorado Craft Company image called Happy Forevering, from the Lovely Legs series.  She also include some coordinating sentiments and I used one on the outside as well as another on the inside of my card. Carol also included some sweet patterned and glittery paper, cut for a slim-line size card along with some fun ribbons and pretty embellishments.

I colored the image with my Copic Sketch Markers. I also flagged one of the sentiments to use on the front of the card.  I picked the fun Bazzill black on black polka dot patterned paper for the base layer. I also used one of the glittery papers for another layer for some shimmer.  I added three rhinestones on the sentiments along with some of the black sheer ribbon.  This was fun card to make!

Here is the inside of my card, with another of the sentiments:

I hope all of the Classy Card Ladies enjoy my card this month. Please be sure to stop in to see what all of the Diamonds as well the Pearls have created this month.  There are two members who do not have blogs: Suzy who is on the Diamond team and Debby who is a Pearl. You will be able to check out their creations in their SCS gallery, if you click on the link for their name.  All of the others should be found on my left sidebar.  I am sure you will enjoy all of the wonderful creations this month!  See you next month in June, when we are not exactly what is happening but I am sure Kelly and Jeanette have a plan!

Big Birthday

This is my June card for the monthly themed swap that Terry is hosting on SCS. Each month she will post a theme and we make cards using any stamp set we believe follows that thought. This is our 52nd month and the theme for June is "Black, White and Red/Read All Over".

I picked a Stampin' Up set called Birthday Brights for the word Big.  I then cut the word Birthday and the backer from my newer Whimsy Stamp die set.  I layered both on some Bazzill Heritage Script which really has a vintage feel.  Black brads are the final touch.  I think this is a good masculine card.

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope Terry and the others swappers like my card this month too! Terry has already posted the July theme and the ones for the rest of the year.  Be sure to come back in to see what we create!

Cute as a Bug

It is time for another The Three Musketeers post. We are ready to showcase the card we all created with the image that Kelly sent for April--for Card #68!  That means we nearing the end of year #5--can you believe that?  All three of us sure have enjoyed the challenges every month and we hope that it continues for a long time!  I am up next for the May challenge.  Be sure to come back to see what we create!

For our card this month, Kelly sent us this sweet Clearly Besotted image called Garden Plushies!  This is a perfect image for Spring!  I loved coloring up this image with my Copic Sketch Markers. I layered the colored image over a piece of cardstock cut from a Spellbinders Scalloped Long Rectangle Die. The dotted background paper is from Bazzill and I added a piece of Flirty Flamingo that I embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder.  The sweet sentiment was punched with a circle and layered.  A piece of Daffodil Ribbon completes the card. I hope Jeanette and Kelly along with you enjoy my card!

Here is the inside of my card:

Please check out the other Musketeer's cards.  Here is the link to Jeanette's blog along with Kelly's blog.  I am sure you will not be disappointed and will see a couple of great cards!  They may post today or tomorrow, so be sure to check out their blogs for their card!   As I mentioned, I am up for our May challenge, so please come back!

Make it Plaid!

It is the 10th of the month and that means it is time for my card for the monthly themed swap that Terry is hosting on SCS.  Each month she will post a theme and we make cards using any stamp set we believe follows that thought. This is our 35th month and the theme for November is "Plaid ". We were to use plaid any form for this month's card.  I picked some green plaid paper and added a Whipper Snapper Designs image for a Thank You card.  I am sure there will be some wonderful cards this month.

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope Terry and the others swappers like my card this month too!  We are taking December off and Terry has already posted the January theme.  Be sure to come back in to see what we create!

Watering Can & Flowers!

I am posting another card that I am made from the card kits from the group on SCS that Heather organized.  I was showered with kits last month, in April and I am posting the cards in the next 2 weeks. In this group, we do not post any wishes of what we want to receive--each person who sends the kit, makes it however they want.  I have received a variety of fun images and so many extras to make many more cards!

I am making the cards in the order I received the kits. This is the 4th card, made from a kit sent by Cheryl. This was a fun kit to play with!  I hope I did OK and that Cheryl likes my card.

There were some wonderful images that we could chose from.  All of the images were a bit sassy!  I went with an image that is just a bit naughty--maybe a bit like me!  I tried to use some round images on my card--like the patterned paper as well as the five pink pearls.  Thanks so much Sassy Studio.

Here is the inside of my card. I might send it to someone who might not be on Santa's nice list this year!
