Today is the third Tuesday in August and time again for my A Card A Week Challenge!  The theme is August is to use a Color Combination from the SCS Challenges.

This week I picked  CC791-Delight in the Mambo and Calypso. I a fun Whipper Snapper Designs wooden stamp called Whimsical Giraffe.   I colored the image with my Copic Sketch Markers. I layered the image over Stampin' Up Bubble and Fizz Designer Series Paper--I think it is a fun background.  I added a few pink enamel dots as the only embellishment!

A Parade of Old Memories

Today is the second Tuesday in August and time again for my A Card A Week Challenge!  The theme is August is to use a Color Combination from the SCS Challenges.

This week I picked  CC795-A Parade of Old Memories. I picked a My Favorite Things-MFT stamp and die set called Balloon Bundle.  I colored the balloons with my Copic Sketch Markers. I layered the balloon bundle after die cutting over a piece of cardstock embossed with a Cuttlebug Hounds tooth Embossing Folder. The background paper is from Stampin' Up's Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper, along with all of the cardstock.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Color Challenge 792

Today is the first Tuesday in August and time again for my A Card A Week Challenge!  The theme is August is to use a Color Combination from the SCS Challenges.

This week I picked  CC792-Granny's Looking in the Shadows of Cabana.  I thought these fun colors reminded me of water and land, so I picked a Taylored Expressions stamp called Making A Difference, with a beautiful Globe.  I colored it with my Copic Sketch Markers. This image is rather large, so I just matted the globe with one layer of Coastal Cabana and layered the other colors on the card base.  A few green enamel dots are the final touch.

Here is the inside of my card, with a strip of washi tape:

Someone Painted the Pool Cabana Coral!

This is the 33rd week of A Card a Week Challenge. One card a week--for 52 weeks--with a preset challenge for each month. August is to use a Color Challenge from SCS.  Every Tuesday I will post a card that fits the theme of the monthly challenge.

I picked Color Challenge #723 for my final card in August.  It is to use Calypso Coral, Pool Party and Coastal Cabana.  The title on SCS is Someone Painted the Pool Cabana Coral!

I thought these colors would look nice with a nautical theme and I picked a cute Gina K Designs Stamp.  The background is the Stampin' Up Seaside Embossing Folder.

I really like the look of this card and hope you do too.

I hope you will stop back each Tuesday to see my creation for my A Card a Week Challenge!  Be sure to check back to see my what September brings as my theme is to CASE a card made by one of the SCS Favorite Stampers.  I am sure there will be some fun cards to chose from!

Camp Stamp-in-Oga Challenges

These two cards I made for the card challenges for Camp Stamp-In-Oga, which is being held today. The top one, with the snowflake scroll,  is for the Color Challenge and the bottom one is for the Sketch Challenge.  I am hoping one of the two is a winner!

Here are the color choices:

Here is what the sketch looks like:

I went with a bit of non-traditional winter colors for the first card--picking Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick.  I used the Stampin' Up Snow is Glistening Stamp set and the coordinating Snowfall thinlits.  I like the uniqueness of it and I hope the attendees do to and vote for it!

For the sketch card, is highlighted some of the newest Stampin' Up Specialty Designer Series Paper called Floral Romance.  I love the colors and the patterns!

Camp Stamp-in-Oga Color Challenge

This is the second of the two cards I made for the challenges for Camp Stamp-In-Oga, which was held on Saturday.  This is for the color challenge. If you check back at my post from yesterday, you will my card for the sketch challenge.  I am hoping one of the two is a winner! I am writing this post on Thursday, so I am not sure yet.

The color choices we could use were--Tranquil Tide, Poppy Parade, Gray Granite, Merry Merlot, Garden Green and Gorgeous Grape.  I went with the ones I thought would make a pretty fall colored card and use one of my newest Stampin' Up sets Country Home and a die from the Stitched Seasons set.  I also used a newer embossing folder, Hexagon Dynamic Textured Impression.  I used what I would consider the backside that I think gives this card some cool texture!

My color choices are Merry Merlot, Garden Green and Gray Granite:

Camp Challenge Cards

These are my two cards for I made for our card challenges at Camp Stamp-in-Oga, which is being held today--Saturday, the 20th! Sarah, our camp leader, posts the challenges about a week before the camp.  There is a sketch and a color challenge.

The first card is for the color challenge--there were 6 color choices--Night of Navy, Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Bermuda Bay.  I picked the first three and used the Stampin' up star framelits and the triple banner punch for the layout.

The second card was for the sketch challenge and I used non-traditional colors for a Christmas card.  I used a pop of gold cardstock on the small banner for some color.  The background paper is from the Merry Music pack and is actually the musical words to Deck the Halls!

I am hoping one will be a winner today!
