[edit]- 17 Races
- Practices: 3 sessions of 90-minutes free practice, two held on Friday and one on Saturday
- Qualifying: 1 session of qualifying to determine Main Race grid. Held on Saturday after Free practice 3
- Main Race: Full-length race at approx. 300 kilometres + 1 lap. Held on Sunday

- Tyres
- Michelin exits
- Now total of 14 dry sets per driver in each weekend
- 4 sets reserved to Friday only
- Both Hards and Softs must be used once during the race
- Practices
- Now increased from 60 minutes to 90 minutes
- Now allows a second car
- Also allows a third driver to drive in any of the two
- Penalties
- Engine Penalties now only applied in the 2nd day of the weekend
- Any changes on 1st day will not granted a penalty
- Engine Penalties now only applied in the 2nd day of the weekend
- Pit Lane
- Refueling during Safety Car are now banned
- Any lapped cars ahead of a car on the lead lap are now required to pass the safety car to restart at the end of the pack
- The 2nd car must now be equipped with a yellow roll bar
- Teams finshing outside Top 4 in previous season are no longer allowed to run a 3rd car on Friday
- All cars now fitted with cockpit lights to inform track conditions
- All cars now fitted with warning lights for to allow rescue crews to immediately notice the locaiton
- Must be upwards around the top of survival cell
