Steps to Add an Image Object in Tableau
Let's see the steps to add an image object:
Step 1: Open the Tableau and connect to a database.

Step 2: Select the New Dashboard option from the bottom menu or from the dashboard menu.
Step 3: On the left pane of dashboard page, locate Dashboard Objects.

Step 4: Select and Drag the Image Object into the Dashboard.
Step 5: Browse and upload the desired image from the system or from any URL and adjust placements according to need.

Example 1: Adding an Image to a Dashboard
- Drag the Image Object into the dashboard.
- Choose an image from our system and click OK.

Example 2: Using Image Object Features
The Image Object provides several customization features:
- Edit Image: Replace or update the image at any time.
- Fit Image: Adjust the image to fit within the allocated space.
- Center Image: Align the image properly within the object container.
- Floating Object: Place the image as a floating element for flexible positioning.

Example 3: Adding a Clickable URL to an Image
- Insert an image and assign a URL link to it.

Removing an Image from a Dashboard
- Click on the Image Object we want to remove.
- Either press the X (close) icon or click the drop-down arrow and select Remove from Dashboard.
