New Parts

Skeeter: The Big Thing decided he dinnent like the parts he had for our kitty tower, so he lefft and came back with others.

He wants us to have flat places to climb. But he says it needs "a bigger bottom, straighter upright boards, and better bracey-things". He read some places where kitty towers went "broke" an he doesn't want that to happen to us. He is going to really start killing boards into the shapes tommorrow an will take pictures when he makes steps (or something like that). But tommorrow is going to be a big wood-killing day, an he will know if it is making any sense after that.

After he kills the boards into the shapes he wants, he will cover them with carpet and then make all the boards stay together. Then those "bracing" things to make effrything solid as floors. He says he has effrything together now.

Good, we are getting tired of waiting... But he promises we will like it, so we will watch and wait a little time longer. Then I will bite his ankles if it is not builted!
Skeeter: While The Big Thing is making our Kitty Tower (pictures of parts when our batteries get recharged tommorrow (hiss!). He keeps changing it as he sees the problems of bracing resting and climbing platforms. But he thinks he can built one now. If we breaks it, that's his fault (an he agrees).

The base will be 4' by 2', he will make "dado" cuts into rounded off square pole going up, an he will attach the sitting places into the "dados" and set braces under them that shouldn't get in our way. AppArently, our resting platforms stick into the poles and the braces hold them steady at the edges. I think that is good. Well, I wouldn't want a resting place that fell over, would I?

He says the carpetting part is tricksey, but he has figured out how to "cut the carpet" so it doesn't overlap. I suppose that is good but I really don't care. LC and I just want the finished product.

If we like it, he may decide to built more for our friends. He says building something the first time is tricksey, but the next 10 times is easier. Well, then why doesn't he just build the 10th one to start with? I don't unnderstand him sometimes!
