2. “Ayla” is pronounced ay as in “day” an la as in la-la-la-la. Long “A” + “la”.
3. She is skinny! An long fer a little kitty, too!
4. Shes a Meezer (applehead, seal point, brown pawpads).
5. She hasn’t spoken yet at all. Not the least mew…
6. Shes playin wif a pompom already.
7. She started purrin fer The Big Thing this morning (chin skritches will do it efrytime).
8. She stretched out an let The Big Thing scratch her belly this afternoon.
9. Apparently, she was taught to use Bein litterbowls. We’re gonna wait ta see before we belief THAT!
10. She has BLUE EYES! We nefer saw that before, so we will be real innerested when she is finally introduced ta us nose-to-nose.
11. She is used ta eatin better food than we are (The Big Thing says we will all “meet in the middle”).
12. She is used to usin pine pellets inna litterbox (when she has to use a litterbox). Dang, that’s praklly like goin outside inna woods! The Big Thing says we can try it too.
13. When The Big Thing picked her up an let her peek out the door at Skeeter, she didn’t try to squirm away, an no one hissed.
