Womancat Wensday

 LORI:  TBT often sees Marley drinking water.  And it is from a bowl where we eat.  There is a flowing water-thing nearby, but none of us use it (yet).

But TBT saw me drinking from the regular bowl.

Well, it usually has food crumbs and hair in it.  Marley drinks from the bowl and shed fur into it.  Yuck.  But TBT used a strainer to take all "the stuff" out of it.  

Takes out all furs and crumbs.

And he had tossed some dry kibbles around (which we love to chase).  

So I was a bit thirsty.  The nice clean water was just what I wanted!

TBT:  I bought a small bottle of "waterbowl-flavoring" a few months ago.  I keep forgetting to use it but I did yesterday.  Lori apparently likes it.  I've never seen her drink water from the bowl before.  I think that like, most of the previous Mews, she likes the pond water outside better.  And gets water from the canned foods.

But it was nice seeing her drinking inside...

Catching Up With Pics

 TBT:  Sometimes I have few good pics to use, sometimes I have a lot.  Right now, I have a lot.  Yay!

I bought a water fountain for The Mews.  They weren't sure about it.  So I left the regular waterbowl next to it.

Lori drank from it, but I was too slow with the camera.

But the regular waterbowl is not getting lowered and there are plenty of peepods in the litterboxes, so I know they are drinking from the fountain.

Laz and Marley have become bed-buddies.

And they are often around each other in the house.  

They play at wrassling sometimes, but Laz isn't stupid.  He doesn't actually attack Marley.  When they wrassle, Laz leaves first...

Womancat Wensday

LORI:  TBT doesn't see us drink water very often, but he caught me this time... 

Laz has been insisting on more kibble recently, so I do too!  It does leave us a little thirstier though...

Ayla and Marley are happy with wet food, but if there are kibbles for Laz and me, they want some as well.

So we all drink a bit more water these days.

And, BTW, it seems that everyone figured out out riddle from Monday.  Concatulations!  😸

Werdy Wensday

AYLA:   I came out of The Mews Room to eat dinner with Marley!  Dad will still bring me my meals there, but I was "out and about" annyway (I knew Laz was nappin in the bedroom) and there was some food, so I joined him.  I still kept an eye and an ear on the doorway though.

It was a nice change of location.

Still checking for Laz...

Besides, thats where the waterbowl is.  Yeah, Dad suddenly realized that The Mews Room doesnt have a water bowl.  He said he will fix that today!

Flashback Friday And A Status

AYLA:  We aren't really "back" yet, but we are less busy than Dad, so he said we could do a Friday Flashback.  So Im taking advantage of this and sneaking in several...

This week in 2009, I was enjoying a box WITH clothes in it.

Thats a really nice combination!

This week in 2011, I was enjoying the platform tree TBT made himself.  It was before we got the fancier ones, so it was out in the living room then.

And I posed nicely, of course...

This one is from this week in 2011.  Its not a great picture (across the house in the dark), but it has us all in it, so its worth showing.  It was our first "fancy" cat tree.

Meanwhile, it is hot-as-hell lately and Dad will only let us stay out for about 15 minutes at a time and then we have to stay in for at least an hour.  And we have to drink water.  Well, Iza drinks water all the time.  But he saw Marley drinking water from the bowl.  He makes me eat soupy canned food.  I dont actually drink water by itself, so he adds some to my canned food and I have to eat THAT.

Caturday and Sunday are supposed to get to 100F, so we won't get out AT ALL.

Oh, BTW, we really have him getting locked down as "Dad".  He opened the deck door when we were all out there and said "Time to come in, kids".  AHA!

Mancat Monday

MARLEY:   TBT was surprized to see me drinking water from the bowl.  Its not something he sees very often.   And he doesnt even HAVE a picture of Ayla drinking water.

Iza, on the other paw, can empty the bowl in 2 days...
