We caught a "possum" in the cage. We're gettin tired of those possums an groundhoggies and rabbits and things. The Big Thing hadda drive our kitty litter to a dump place, so he brought the possum an let it out at a swampy place on the way. He says it is way too far away for it to find our yard again, so "OK". We don't like things gettin into our yard.
An he says we sure wouldn't want to eat it, so that makes it OK that he let it go somewhere far away. We mean, we like fishy and birdie flavor food and we haven't seen any "possum" flavored kitty food. So maybe they just taste yucky!

Hornet Buggies
Skeeter and LC: Yikes, we were out and heard some serious buzzy noises, so we went to look. It even attracted the attention of The Big Thing! We found a hornet attackin a cicada. An that was amazin, cause the cicada was way bigger than the hornet! They thrashed around together buzzin against all the plants.
The Big Thing went inna the cave to grab the camera, but he couldn't take any piciatures. The camera was dead. So then he ran inside and pulled batteries outa other stuff and took some piciatures. The cicada wasnt all that active then, but we liked thast he was takin the piciastures so we could study them later.

When the hornet started flyin around, we all backed away (it seemed kinda mean) an The Big Thing took the camera back inside. But we went out a little later to collect the cicada and see if it would have a hornet baby inna covered glass bowl, an it was GONE!
We cant 'magine the hornet could take that big cicada away, but maybe it did. At least, something did. Whatever, it was real amazin! We watch those waspies and hornetses real close sometimes (they never seem to bother us), but we have sure never seen one doing that before.
