WONDERFUL Outside Day!

We went out today an we hafta say it was just WONDERFUL! It was warm, sunny, and the temperature was like inna house! It was dry, there were leafs all ofer da place, an efen more fallin from trees. We dont like them fallin ON us or TOO near, but it is neat seein stuff movin cause there is allus somethin to look at. No good for tryin to find mousies by earsight, but ya can't haf eferything, ya know!

Skeeter: The Big Thing let us know it was good outside cause he opened the deck door an left it open. I like that a LOT cause sometimes I want to go back inside inna hurry if there is too much noise from machines or woofies barking. But we didnt have any of that today, so, I got to stay out for, um, a long time. Well, whatever long it was, the sun was inna different place by the time I went back inside.

LC: I stayed out longer than Skeeter. He went in and out a few times (probly to make sure he could), but we were both out lots. The Big Thing was doing (mostly) quiet stuff outside, so he was there with us (and we both like that).

We started by jus sittin in the tree area together an lookin around to see what was inneresting.

Skeeter likes this time of year. The leafs make him harder to see. Notice how he blends in while I cant hide at all!

I spose it doesnt matter much. I dont hafta hide from froggies an they seem to be all gone for now. But Skeeter likes to be "unseen" specially when he is tryin to sneak up onna squirrel. Neither of us haf efer caught one, but he is determined to get one. I hope he does cause I would like to see one up close an sniff it. Their a bit big for me anyway. Skeeter might be able to handle one though. Sometimes we debate what they would taste like. He says they are jus big mousies, but I think maybe they are those "beefs" we get fed sometimes. I think any animal near or bigger than me must be "beeffs! Well, not woofies, but the ofers... The Big Thing jus smiles an says he isnt tellin.

I found some grass to chew on. I had some fur in my tummy, ya know, an needed some help gettin it out. An sometimes it is jus cool to chew on fer no reason but the chewin.

SKEETER: I did a lot of explorin today. I usually like to stay close to the door on the deck, but since The Big Thing was around, I felt more comfortable. He is "cleaning plants". He doesnt seem to be aktualy washing them (with his tongue or anything) but when he is done, they do look better in some way I havent figured out. I checked out some of the places AFORE he did it. They looked OK to me, but he gets "fussy" about some things.

Here I am checkin out a place where there were colerful flowers a coupla Big Moons ago. Theyre all gone now.

There are still LOTSA places to walk aroun in tall plants. The plants around the little pond are still there an I love to peek aroun them to see if any unwary mousies are sneekin there.

I dint find any today, but I hadda good drink of really cool tasty water (much better than the inside stuff).

I hafta show ya a "funny picture". The Big Thing was trying to get me walkin in front of the "blue plastic" (ya can just see a little on 1 side), but I wouldn't stop walkin (I love doin that to him). An I'm mostly gone already. But lookit how long I am even wifout my head showin!

LC: I love watchin The Big Thing tyin to get pictures of Skeeter. Skeeter spends a lot of time walking away from the camera, so it is a kinna dance watching them. Here I am watchin... MOL!
